Q: Is the slot in the washed gray or washed maroon hat big enough for a really high pony or messy bun?

I thought it would be great for a super high pony or messy bun, but it isn't. The hole is much lower than I expected, but it is higher than the normal pony than usual.

Q: Is this hat good for a smaller head?

I think so, it can be adjusted. I woild think it would fit any adult/teen

Q: Does the glitter come off easily?

NO! I mean I get a few specs on me every now and then. But, I have worn my black hat several times and it is still in great shape.
