Squirrel Proof Bird Feeders for Outdoors Hanging (Premium Metal) 1.25 lb Capacity, Chew & Rust Proof, 4-Port Bird Feeder

We have purchased several squirrel proof bird feeders and this is the only one our very intelligent squirrels have not been able to conquer or destroy. We did stake the feeder with a strong string attached to the ground below so it couldn't be tipped as they try to get the seed to pour out on the ground when nothing else works for them. We are very happy with our purchase and do recommend it.

While it's quite a bit smaller than I expected it seems to be adequate for the smaller birds as it advertised.

Wires are pretty thin, so we'll see how long it lasts. It is not squirrel proof - they just hang onto the wires upside down and stick their heads in through the squares of the wire and get to the food. If the squares of wire were smaller where the wires are not over the food access holes, that would make the feeder more robust - or maybe even better, a piece of metal where there are no food access holes, so that squirrels and large birds would have less space to hang onto. It is not very large - perhaps holds 3 or 4 cups of food. But would be great if it was harder for squirrels and large birds to hold onto.

This is a good bird feeder. There are baffles above the holes which prevents the seeds from pouring out. A good value for the money.

Great feeder! Keeps the blackbirds out. I filled it with safflower seeds and I enjoy watching the smaller birds at the feeder.

I ordered this product in hopes that it would prevent the squirrels from getting to the bird feed for our wild birds. I would have to say it does an excellent job at preventing the squirrels from getting to the bird feed, however, the small holes for the birds to access are way too small for anything to feed on the bird feed. I have had this feeder out for almost a week, and it's the only feeder that hasn't been touched by the sparrows, finches and other ground birds. I'm thinking of making the holes larger and cutting the wire mesh in order for the birds to access the bird feed. It does it's job at preventing the squirrels but also the birds. I don't think this feeder was designed with the birds in mind. Do not recommend buying this feeder.

Very nice and well-built bird feeder.BUT the add said it was squirrel proofit took them less than an hour to openthe top and get the goodies. LOLthere smarter and stronger then you think.
