I bought this for my 82 year old mother, who is a technophobe. I wanted to get her a very simple phone with a good battery life. I programmed the contacts into the phone before giving it to my mum. I think she would have struggled to add them herself. It's not hard to add them but I thought she'd struggle been non tech savvy. The navigation button is very small and seems to have click and touch activation which makes it a little fiddly. So far she is happy with the phone. She has learnt how to use it quickly and it just does what she wants, makes and receives phone calls. It is a cheap phone though, so don't expect too much from it :)

Bought for Husband who is a technophobe. He has 2 hearing aids and this is supposed be HAC definitely NOT. The sound is great one minute then rubbish the next. Even with the keypad locked you can still dial 999 which has happened a few times. Not impressed with this phone at all and definitely not worth the price.

Purchased for relative who cannot use a smart phone. Very easy to use . Lovely little phone. Would recommend.

In my opinion this phone is no where near as good as the previous model which I have had a number of years the main reasons are the positioning of the Red emergency button on the back is no longer there and instead a fairly innocuous button is placed on top edge of the phone which is easy to miss and is not so easily able to be pressed particularly for elderly in emergencies There is no hands free facility which I think is essential for a phone intended for the elderly Had I realised these two aspects I would not have purchased this phone Pity really since the previous model was so good Update - I was wrong about handsfree facility - I have now discovered how this works after contacting customer services who were very helpful so thank you to them - readjusted to 4 stars

Bought this to replace an A5 for an elderly disabled person. The battery lasts less than half the time of the A5. Dead inb three days. My Nokia smartphone battery lasts longer. Everything about this phone is a significant downgrade from the A5. It feels lighter, the buttons are harder to use as there is no gap between them. Can't recommend this at all. Two stars because it does actually work as a phone. After leaving this review I was contacted by the seller who offered a refund, which they never honoured but instead kept asking the same questions trying to suggest the poor battery life was somehow my fault. For clarity, Same SIM, Same location only difference is a Prime-A6 instead of a Prime-A5. Battery life went from around five days to around 2.

My wife can't handle modern technology so an ordinary mobile was out of the question. We used to have a good BT landline phone but we 'lost' our landline when we had full fibre fitted to the property. This phone was the nearest I could find to the old landline style and suits her quite well. It works well and uses 4G phone connections which is also needed as some other 'senior's mobiles' don't have 4G access and have to revert to 2G which is very poor quality. All-in-all a good mobile phone, especially for the price.

I brought this to replace my mums Artfone C1 which is 2g. But the Easyfone is not as good as the Artfone C1. The Easyfone sound volume was not that loud. The speaker is in the back. Also what ever sim we tried for some reason it was still only showing 2g. also it is slightly smaller making it difficult to hold if you are elderly. My elderly mum manged the Artfone, but could not get on with the Easyfone. The setup is the same, but the volume was not as loude. There is an earphone socket but its not easy for here to use. We had to send it back but we cannot find a phone of this type that would work as yet.

Had an issue with it recognising the SIM card, returned and obtained a refund.

I agree with other reviewers. I tested this a number of times on the Telstra network, and calls cut out every time. It does have 4G, but I found that one has to manually select the 4G network for it to work, and even then the device slips back to 3G for some reason. Possibly this was because the phone thought the 4G signal wasn't strong enough, and this may have been the reason for the dropped calls (switching between 4G and 3G), however such a switch should be seamless and not result in dropped calls. Battery life not tested. No physical volume control buttons on the device is also another big disappointment. Indeed mine was shipped with a European power plug charger as others have mentioned. This phone is not fit for service in Australia in my opinion.

Was not supplied with Australian wall plug, Australian seller coming from Australia, you would think your getting a au wall plug to charge it. Secondly the calls drop out so much i mean like 95% time there is issues calling and ive had this only for 2 days. When calling someone they cant hear me clearly enough or other issue is that when calling your talking for 30 seconds and then you cant hear nothing on the other line, this is happening with nearly every phone call, not good for seniors at all. Im a young man tech dude and this is just terrible so far, only good feature is the FM radio. I didnt have a issue with my older phone nothing at all like this with call drop outs. Also battery life is terrible, this does not compare at all to a good old nokia brick phone. Terrible value for money $125. Should be maximum $50. Sorry if im being harsh to seller thats just my opinion with experince.
