Q: How much to put in a 15 gallon sparyer

Hi.....1/2oz per gallon, or 8oz in this case using a measuring cup. Fifteen gallons should cover approximately 6-7,000 sq ft of lawn if applied as a dew-like wetting. It's not necessary to water into the soil. This is a foliar-feed product, meaning it is absorbed through the leaf blades. Foliar-feeding is very efficient and cost-effective. However, it requires more frequent applications. A general recommendation is every 2-3 weeks, although we have customers who use it every 10 days, and others once/month. Frequency depends on a number of factors, so judgement comes into play. Just make sure you shake for 10 seconds of so immediately before pouring. Hi.....any fertilizer can be harmful if overdosed. That being said, you would have to overdose by several multiples at stated instructions to burn. Q: Can you use this with newly seeded lawns?

I used it on Bermuda grass seedlings and had no problems. It has no chemicals if I recall that could harm your lawn. Worked really well on my St. Augustine this spring but it was sod.

Q: What is the application rate/1,000 square feet?

GH, Where did you get .0017 lbs. of N without a Net Weight of the product? I've tried reverse engineering your math and I'm not getting close to that number. If 0.0017 lbs. of N is in each ounce, then you are saying the net weight of the product is 1.67 lbs. Its probably closer to 10.6 lbs. Lets say a gallon is 11 lbs. of product (which we don't know), then 11#/128oz = 0.0859375. 0.0859375 * 0.13 (Nitrogen content) = 0.011#N/oz.
