USI WrapSure Thermal (Hot) Laminating Pouches/Sheets, Menu Size, 3 Mil Thick, 12 x 18 Inches, Clear Gloss, 100-Pack

I saw all the five star reviews, so I bought these 12 x 18 pouches even though I preferred a 12 x 12 size. I love them, and I am now happy as can be with the replacement box. The clarity is perfect. They are very sturdy. I don't see any defects in the pouches at all. They ARE truly 5 star pouches. I have purchased many different brands of letter size laminating pouches recently and several have gone back to the seller for one reason or another. Some returns were not the fault of the product, though at the time I thought so. It was my 3 month old cheapo $20.00 Scotch laminator that apparently was not getting hot enough on the 5 mil setting to melt the glue enough to remove the cloudy effect. It worked great on the 3 mil setting using Universal brand 3 mil pouches, so I did not realize that the 5 mil setting was not hot enough for the 5 mil pouches and it was the reason for the cloudy appearance. The first box of these pouches I received had several issues, but the main one was that it had some sort of rubbery particles that were very hard to wipe off, especially inside the pouch flaps. Only a flannel cloth would work well enough. I don't know what the particles were, but it was like trying to wipe off eraser crumbs. Nearly every sheet had small dents all over them, although the dents did iron out after going through the laminator. I was more than ticked off as I tried to use them anyway, but it got to a point that I was wasting too much time holding them up to the light removing EVERY crumb while trying not to ruin the pouch. I contacted the company. They cheerfully and immediately sent me a new box and it was shrink-wrapped and the pouches look clean as a whistle. When I need more, I will be back.

I'm on my 5th box. I've tried just about every brand out there and these pouches work the best for me. I have a small side business making custom laminated place-mats and laminated drink coasters. These pouches have just the right amount of adhesive, so that I can run my pouches through my machine without a carrier (it gives me a much better seal). The cheap pouches will gunk up my machine with lots of extra adhesive and get all over my rollers, WrapSure very rarely does this and when it does happen, it cleans up easily with a single pass of a cleaning sheet. This is a superior product at a reasonable price.

Came with 2 cardboard folder sleeves. Product performed clear. Box they came in could be more stout & rugged; it is a bit flimsy.

With covid I recently purchased a laminator to help protect the learning tools (calendars, weather/seasons, writing, etc) for my sons to “have” preschool. These pouches are 5 mil a great size and value. They’re sturdy after lamination. For the most part everything came out clear. A few seemed to come out cloudier (but not horrible). Not sure if it was the pouch or user/machine.

This is my 3rd purchase of this product. I keep coming back because the quality is amazing. These thermal pouches are crystal clear and very sturdy. I get compliments on my laminated articles constantly.
