Yes, a MINIFIGURE (and a pretty cool one at that!)
Exactly what my son wanted! After reading a lot of the negative reviews, I feel I should make something clear, because it apparently needs explained: This, as the title of the item states, is a MINIFIGURE. Many negative reviews seemed rather taken aback and downright outraged that this was a small figure. Uhhh...methinks they must not be very familiar with Legos. In case you are among those that don't know, Lego Minifigures are, well, mini. Back in the 90s, in my days playing amongst piles of Legos, we called them "Lego people." They are the small, few-piece characters/people that often come with Lego sets to be played withwithin the scene or object built. They're small enough to interact with the Lego kits with some semblance of "to scale," meaning that they are small enough to sit in cockpits, in chairs, go through little doors and into building structures, etc. I don't know the exact height off the top of my head, but a standard one (without any big headpieces, shorter legs--like Yoda, or so on), will run around an inch and a half high. My sister's pirate ship Lego set had little pirate dudes that nestled in a few per lifeboat. Her spaceship set had little spacemen that could be plunked into the little spacehip seats. My horse stable set had little equestrian people to ride the little horses that went in the little stalls... Ever seen The Lego Movie? Think of Emmet, Wildstyle, Benny, etc. They are Minifigures. This General Grevious sold here is a Minifigure, too, so don't get ruffled because he's, like, two inches-ish tall (at most?) and not....more. A lot of kids who like Legos are all about Minifigures of their favorite characters and themes. Is it expensive? Eh, Legos are expensive. Minifigures on their own, at least branded Lego ones, typically carry prices like this, more or maybe less depending on rarity, retirement, and other facors like that which are common with any collectibles. Knock-offs are often cheaper, and the kiddob may like those just fine, but legit Lego ones of popular themes are usually priced to match the high desire they draw. Rip-off?I guess it's in the eye of the beholder. To a collector or kid who counts these as dearly-loved tiny friend (like my kid), it's worth it. To anyone else, the jury is out. Please heed that this is titled a Minifigure, and don't be surprised that it's EXACTLY that. No, it doesn't have very many pieces, EXACTLY as many as you see in the picture (in fact, this one actually kinda has more pieces than most for a minifigure, with those extra arms, collection of light sabers and all). If you are not sure if this is what the kid you are shopping for has in mind, just ask (and maybe grab a pen!). Kids are usually pretty happy to discuss what Legos they have on their minds, and can decribe them in enthusiastically great detail. They'll probably be happy that you cared enough to hear out their Lego chitchat, and thrilled that you remembered which ones were on their hearts. My son adores General Grevious, adores Legos, and very badly wanted this. He saved up for it, and it was worth every penny to him. He loves toting a few minifigures at a time around in a little earbud case clipped to his beltloop, counting them as little friends out on adventures with him. When he's in the car or seated in a waiting room or such, he loves to get them out and fiddle with them. When he's back home, he enjoys sitting in his room and playing with them amongst Lego sets. It's a nice little arrangement because it keeps him very content on errand runs. Understand that most kids who love Legos count Minifigures as very cool and special little goodies. If you don't get it, that's okay, but know and accept that Lego-loving kids (the targeted demographic here) think these minifigure dudes (and dudettes) are pretty swell. If the kids in your life said they wanted a General Grevious Minifigure, yes, this is the guy, all two inches of him.My son's arrived with all pieces and has held up nicely to lots of adventures and play. General Grevious is (perhaps a bit oddly) his veryveryvery favorite character, so we're sure glad he was available. Five stars!

Best Grievous Lego!
This is one of my most valued lego minifigures, and probably the best purchase I've made in the Star Wars Lego world. The detail on the figure is simple, yet remarkably realistic to the armor and limbs of the General. The head, although it has only stickers on it for the eyes, is exactly the way it appears in The Clone Wars. The positioning of the head gives Grievous his iconic hunch-over pose. He does not come with a cape, but his is still very cool without one. I would recommend to anyone looking for a General Grievous lego. This one is much better than the Revenge of the Sith lego. Though it cost an arm and a leg for one tiny piece of plastic, it was worth it.

I feel like when I rate a product and / or a seller as excellent, I am confused as to why I must submit a comment, so I just say lots of things like this. There's nothing more to say, this product was as expected, I did not contact the seller, and everything arrived right on time. This is all I have to say. This is all I have to say. This is all I have to say. This is all I have to say.

Not in LEGO packaging
I haven't opened the package yet, but it appears all the pieces are in there, including four lightsabers. So, that is good news. There is nothing wrong with the product, however, I was naively unaware that this would not come in a LEGO package. I did not realize that this was being sold after being taken out of a set. I believe it said it is in manufacturers packaging, which I assumed meant a LEGO package. It does not, so don't be surprised. Now that I know, I will buy the next one for my older son off of eBay for less.

Great quality!
Great quality!!! Not a knock off figure it is Lego on the card it says from a set. But one question why is there bubbles in the Lightsabers ? It might just be how Lego makes it but come on Lego put in more quality. But still great quality.

Can't miss
I mean, you've got to have the General.I have a child who loves to manipulate things with his fingers while he listens. This unobtrusive set meets the bill. 4 light sabers, cool design for the fold-out arms. Few enough pieces that he can just fiddle without scattering dozens of bits.

DON'T BUY! IT IS A TEENY TINY LITTLE STICK FIGURE
I wanted to give this NO STARS, but I had to click one star so it would allow me to type my review. This is a teeny tiny itty bitty little thing about an inch tall, if that. It is not worth nearly $20. I bet it cost about 5 cents to make. My 6 year old grandson saw it on the Amazon Site, and he said he wanted it and showed it to me. I ordered it. When I received it, I could not believe it! This is the biggest little rip-off I have ever seen anywhere. REALLY.

Grand-son was very excited to get this gift.
It turned out that this was the exact Star Wars figure that my Grandson had wanted and that his parents had not been able to find. I sure lucked out with this one and really came out as the HERO, on this gift. Once again it was fairly priced and it really ,made my Grand-sons day. Very happy to give it 5 Stars.
