NetDot Gen12 Micro USB Connectors Without Cords(Micro USB/2 Pack Tips)

The reason for 3 stars is the price for just 2 micro usb if put a couple of bucks more you get 3, 6ft cables and micro , typeC, and apple tipsUpdate 3rd day and it snapped without even taking it out the phone this is the second one

I have been really satisfied with the netdot connectors even though they do have some flaws. If you are buying the connectors you probably already have some cables so here are some thoughts that i have:Why can't i get these in bulk somehow?Comments regarding pulling these out of your device are founded but i found a work around by super glueing around the terminal AFTER it has been inserted. (Don't put super glue directly into the terminal)Why can't i get connectors for mini usb, usb b, other usb variants, or even proprietary connectors like for the ds etc.? I'd love to only need one cable for 90% of my devices.

The concept of this cable is great - it quickly snaps together magnetically in correct alignment and I've loved using it with my phone. A small round magnetic mating connector is meant to be left in the micro-usb socket. Over time I found this part to start showing a mechanical weakness which ultimately caused it to fail. The back side of this round connector does not have a flat surface to press against on either my phone or tablet. The result is as the connector is stressed back & forth during normal use while the joint with the portion which enters the micro-usb socket is firmly held in place, over time this joint weakens and then fails.

These make for a FANTASTIC replacement for normal USB-type connections!! I got soooo tired in replacing cheap USB cables that would get bent at the connector because they were snagged while plugged in, or where the internal wiring would give out after getting kinked at an angle too much. With these connectors, accidental snags are not a problem due to the magnetic connections, and kinks made by bending the cable are obsolete due to the angle of attachment and rotation of the cable. And, the soft blue glow of the LED in the ends make them easy to find in the dark, without being too bright to sleep. The ONLY drawback I have found is that I did not buy these sooner!! I would have literally saved a minor fortune wasted in buying cheap USB cables over the years!!!

We have ordered these before but both broke off inside the tablet and phone the first day we had them. Not sure why, the others are still in use.
