Teaching Syllable Patterns: Shortcut to Fluency and Comprehension for Striving Adolescent Readers

The book is what I was looking for, but it does not contain the CD to easily print materials as described on the product description. I know many people no longer use CDs, but I still do, and it was a selling point for me. If a CD is no longer available, online access should replace it. I was very disappointed not to receive it.

The included CD was not included. Disappointed! This second set had one cd included but two were still missing.

This book is a required text for a course I am taking, so it meets the needs in that manner. However, the activities are not as good as I would expect. The books content is nothing more than what you could already find doing a quick Google search. While it is nice to have a book to reference, I don't see myself using this in my classroom.

It actually looked like a good resource, but unfortunately, the CD didn’t come with the book so I couldn’t print any of the resources.

Not perfect, but it is helping me organize how to cover this material with adult reading students who have a lot of gaps in their "phonics" knowledge...
