READY RICE Roasted Chicken & Spanish Variety Pack (6 Pack)

I really like this variety pack of BEN’S ORIGINAL Ready Rice. Having both the Roasted Chicken and Spanish Style flavors gives me some variety, and they’re really convenient to keep in the pantry for nights when I don’t want to spend a lot of time making a side dish. The individual pouches are a nice size, heat up quickly, and make it easy to add rice to chicken, vegetables, or other meals. I also like getting six pouches in one pack so I can keep several on hand. Overall, these are convenient, tasty, and great for quick meals. I would definitely purchase them again.

I recently picked up the BEN'S ORIGINAL Ready Rice Variety Pack featuring Roasted Chicken and Spanish Style flavors, and it’s been a game changer for easy dinners! Each 8.8 oz pouch is perfect for those nights when you want something quick but still tasty. First off, these rice pouches are super convenient. Just pop them in the microwave for about 90 seconds, and you’re good to go! The Roasted Chicken flavor is so savory, and it pairs perfectly with grilled chicken or veggies. The Spanish Style is packed with a nice blend of spices and goes great with tacos or any Mexican dish. The best part? Each pouch is just the right portion for a side dish, so no more measuring and cooking rice from scratch! It's really nice to have these on hand for busy weeknights or when you need a quick meal prep option. Overall, if you're looking for easy dinner sides that don’t skimp on flavor, this variety pack is a must-have. It’s a convenient way to elevate your meals without the fuss! Highly recommend! 🍽️👍

I cook a lot from scratch, but sometimes you are either in a hurry or just tired and don't want to cook! The chicken flavor is mild but flavorful and can go with just about anything. The Spanish style flavor is a bit spicy with heat, so if you are not a fan of spice this might not be a good choice for you. Mix well in the pack by squishing the heck out of every inch of the packet before you microwave. Those instructions are not for fun, it will effect how the rice comes out.

Easy to use good taste fills the need CFV

Taste good and easy to do when you don’t have time to cook

The old saying goes, do what you do and do it best. Uncle Ben's (or just "Ben's" now I guess) knows their stuff. When they stick to it. Like I said the Jasmine Rice version of the exact same pouch-style = Amazing. This. Not so much. I'll explain why. Spanish Style (with Tomatoes & Peppers): If I were from Spain I would be insulted knowing this is allowed to be sold. Kidding. Somewhat. It's just not very good and nothing like Spanish-style rice you would make at home or even get at a restaurant. It's greasy, almost. Yet there's no grease involved?! That should alarm anyone, off the bat. Vague amounts of flavor that just ever so barely resemble the taste it's supposed to. Long story short, I couldn't finish it. And I was fairly hungry. Roasted Chicken (Flavored with Carrots & Herbs): Another nightmare! Though slightly better, at least in attempt, of what the package says it's supposed to be or at least taste like. No chicken at all. I was almost delighted that I thought there were a few pieces, only to my dismay there were simply clumped, mushy pieces of rice that merely resembled such. I think you can see in the picture there's 1 piece of carrot perhaps a few millimeters in girth. How's that for a balanced meal. In conclusion, please pass on this and just get the white Jasmine rice variety. That will not disappoint. Flawless adaptation of the stove-top/traditional version into something you can microwave in a minute and a half. That's a great product I will be buying again. These, eh, being charitable if you were going to add this to something like a burrito or some sort of larger dish that the rice isn't the main focus on but only a side element, that's a good use for these. Anything else, I'd say your money is better spent on the Jasmine/Original type variety. These versions would pass for something served at a school or prison. Anywhere else, you can do better. They just didn't do a great job adapting from the stove-top/traditionally-prepared rice dishes they're purportedly from for use in the microwave as far as these particular versions. Just my opinion.

Love the flavor... would like a smaller batch because I will have this for awhile with all the packages.. :)

Excellent flavor
