Derale 14204 Transmission Cooling Pan for GM 700R4 and 4L60E

Does this pan require the use of an extension/adapter to lower the location of the filter in the pan?

do you need a longer dip stick?

I have a 1966 gto with a 700r4 trans. i'm concerned about ground clearance and would like to know how much additional depth this has over a stock pan?

Does this pan hang down or have parts/pieces that hang low? I want to put this on my 1990 k5 Blazer that sometimes sees offroad use. (6" lift, 35's)
