Effective. Rinses out well. Great price.

I was reading "Review" (?) on line which put this as #1. Since it said "pack of 6" I figured it was good deal at about $12 (don't remember exactly). Received ONE bottle. The name was not "intense moisture" but something available in local supermarket at small fraction of the cost. Vendor explained that (Pack of 6) is part of description that Amazon forces on them so tough, Dove claims that intense moisture is identical to store brand. Got little discount for not returning the product. Tried it and the stench was unbelievable. Cheap perfume sported mainly by Walmartians which gave me violent cough and headache.No more buying cosmetics on line for me. I sniff at stores first and I get better price.

I have relaxed hair that is naturally thick and when another Black woman told me that this shampoo works well on "our" hair, I was skeptical. I tried it and I'm very happy with the results. The shampoo smells great (similar to the Dove body wash), has a thick consistency, and it left my hair feeling soft and smelling nice. The intense moisturizing conditioner works well, too. If you have relaxed hair and are looking for a convenient alternative to hard to find and expensive shampoos and conditioners, give this one a try.

This shampoo almost acts like a conditioner - it moisturizes unlike any other shampoo I've ever used. I have extremely dry, brittle, coarse, color-treated, curly hair, but this Dove product worked wonders on it. Pairing it with the conditioner makes it even better.There's no need to use a deep conditioner on your hair if you use the shampoo and conditioner together: this stuff is amazing.
