Amazon Basic USB C cord is a must buy
I picked up this Amazon Basic USB C cord hoping it would help with mu connectivity issues. Turns out it was exactly what I needed. My car radio had stopped working with my phone and I was convinced something else was wrong. I blamed the radio, the phone, software updates, and probably a few invisible gremlins too. After way too much trial and error, I decided to swap out the cable for one that was meant for both charging and data transfer. Instant fix. Everything worked perfectly again. The cable feels solid and well made, like it can handle daily use without falling apart. This whole experience taught me that not all cords are created equal. Some are mostly for charging and others actually handle data the way they are supposed to. Even a cable that used to work can quietly become the weak link. Bottom line, this Amazon Basic cable fixed all my issues and restored my car setup back to normal. Simple purchase, big difference. Would definitely buy again. FYI...I made other reviews like this because I ordered multiple different brands hoping one would fix my issues.

Excellent product
This cable is a total sleeper hit for me especially when I need professional-grade speed without the "premium" price tag. Please see below my view of this product on why I think it’s a standout choice: Blazing Fast Performance While most standard cables are stuck at USB 2.0 speeds (480Mbps), this USB 3.1 Gen 2 cable supports up to 10Gbps. When I am transferring 4K video files and large backups between an external SSD and my laptop, the difference is night and day. It turns a 10-minute wait into seconds. Reliable Power Delivery It handles high-speed charging for the my iPhone 16/15 series, iPads, and Samsung Galaxy devices effortlessly. Because it is USB-IF Certified, I don't have to worry about "accessory not supported" pop-ups or, worse, damaging my expensive tech with unregulated power surges. Solid Build Quality The connectors feel premium and seat firmly into ports without any wobbling. The 3-foot length is the "Goldilocks" zone for desktop setups as it’s long enough to reach my hub but short enough to keep my workspace clutter-free. Unbeatable Value I am getting the same technical specs as cables that cost three times as much. It’s a workhorse that prioritizes function and safety over flashy braided patterns.

This cable works very well for USB 3 Gen2 10gbps data transfers
Cable: AmazonBasics USB Type-C to USB-A Male 3.1 Gen2 Adapter Charger Cable - 3 Feet (0.9 Meters) - Black This cable works very well for USB 3 Gen2 10gbps data transfers Summary: This cable surprised me as most USB 3 Gen2 cables perform poorly, especially the Type A to Type C cables. A very reasonable price for a USB 3 Gen2 10gbps cable, but it works very well with my testing (990MB/s read, 980MB/s write). It doesn't look as pretty as the competitor cables and it likes to retain the kinks from the coiling for shipping, but other than that it worked. I expect that leaving it stretched out for a few days will relieve the kinks. Packaged in a no-nonsense biodegradable package with a twist-tie - no other materials. I did not test charging with the cable, only data transfers. === My current test system -Asus Strix Z490-E system, with 3 Type A Gen2 10gbps and 1 Type C Gen2x2 20gbps ports -Samsung 970 Evo Plus and Samsung 950 Pro (and a few other cheaper drives) -Several Common USBC adapters/enclosures (I can provide exact models if you need the info) -Massive active cooling on the bare boards and drives (no thermal tape in the way, pure high speed air via 2 push-pull 80mm fans positioned around the adapter board and SSD so as to maintain a steady thermal state -Benchmark Software: AS-SSD and CrystalDiskMark for testing - focus in on the sequential block throughput -Wiring: I am not using an external USB hub, just the cable to the adapter/bridge and SSD === My opinion on USB 3 Gen2 10gbps cables USB 2 Gen2 cables are a hit-or-miss technology at this time (TB3 seems to be more consistent, and of course more expensive). I feel that certified cables with the active chips seem to perform better. Shorter cables seem to perform better. The longer the cable (especially over 3ft) the more inconsistency (I have one 6ft Gen 2 cable that works in my system, and have sent back a few others). You can have perfect hardware (several varieties) and an expensive USB Gen2 cable may not perform, while a cheaper 1ft-3ft cable performs just fine. Only an expert in this specific field (USB 3 Gen 2) could shed light on these inconsistency issues. Proper cable shielding is required to obtain 10gbps, and that is stiff and heavy. There is probably no way to hit 10gbps with a very flexible cable. Stiff cables transfer movements to the connector and thus a perfect connector design (both sides) is necessary, else a slight movement will jiggle the cable - no getting around this - so many vendors involved in the average system. === About Me I am a 30-year+ software developer that has worked with a lot of high-end high-performance hardware. I don't take testing lightly, but I can't develop a laboratory for testing these cables (not my area). Please take my review for what it is worth based on the info above. I can only speak to what I have seen with my hardware, as listed above.

Cable works fine once "User Error" is fixed!!
This cable handled fast charging and data transfer when connected to a USB2 hub. Edit: Initially I thought the cable wouldn't transfer data files between my Samsung S10E phone and the PC when using a USB3 hub. However - back to basics - I connected the phone with this cable, then REBOOTED the computer, and faster USB 3 data transfer now works fine with this cable. {A 'DUH' on my part!}. A touch thick, but it works.

Thanks to this cable I'm close to the advertised 800MB/s speeds of my SanDisk external SSD, according to the disk benchmark utility. I'm very satisfied with the quality for the price. It's a thick cable, the shielding must be good. It's rigid, as expected, but I'd rather have that than a weak cable prone to transfer losses. According to the Linux command "lsus -t" 10GB/s is indeed the negotiated speed!

Solid cable, performs as expected on my 3.1 gen 2 port.

Writing this review after 3 days of usage. In terms of quality USB connectors and plastics are really good, but insulation rubber quality can be improved. Data transfer speed is as expected, i was getting around 100-110 MB/s on HDD and 150-210 MB/s on SSD, although it's vary device to device. Charging speed is a bit on slower side. Though Amazon claims upto 3A but i got maximum 1.5A on my OnePlus 6T.

Cavetto preso per sostituire uno di marca blasonata con la S e devo dire che la qualità è migliore! Diametro più spesso e sembra più robusto ed un prezzo competitivo

I picked this up because it is USB IF certified and that gave me confidence it would perform as stated. My work involves moving large files frequently and this cable has been put through its paces. It appears to hit the speeds advertised and transfers have been quick and consistent. The build is solid and in line with what I expect from Amazon Basics. It has worked reliably across different devices without problems. Overall it does exactly what I bought it for. Certified, dependable, and good value.
