Joyking Travel Umbrella Windproof - Auto Open Close, Windproof Tested 55MPH

I’m tired of taking my golf umbrella to work or shopping because it’s another thing I have to remember not to leave which I’ve done numerous times. This umbrella is one of a kind as it came in a gift box which makes it perfect for wrapping. It fits just right in my briefcase and also fits my messenger bag. It is black in color so it looks very professional when using it to commute back and forth to work. The structure of the frame is very solid and not at all flimsy or thin as they have used a thicker metal frame structure that would be difficult to have it flip inside out when you are caught in a high wind storm. The handle is very comfortable and the fabric is also good and thick. When you close it the water easily taps off when you shake it and just remains damp for a bit while it finishes drying. What I really love about this umbrella is the mechanics of the opening and closing. Like most umbrellas, you push the button to open but the unusual functionality is that you can push the same button to close it. This is a big plus for me when it’s raining hard and I’m trying to get in the car.

Have use two of these for several years now with no problems. Compact size is convenient.

This is such a nice, sturdy, umbrella! And yes, other reviews are right - it's a little hard to close. You push the button to release-open & push the button to release-close, but you have to use a little strength to close the stem part. I'm young & able & it's "easy", but if you're elderly or have an injury, I can definitely see how it'd be difficult to close. Worth the purchase.

Great size. Works well and very compact. Very powerful and fast when you push the open switch. So be careful the first time you use it.

The umbrella is great except for the difficulty of closing the umbrella. The opening and closing of the umbrella is automatic but to close the umbrella after hitting the close button it is very difficult to close back up without pushing the bottom of the umbrella into something ridged.

I love how compact this umbrella is! Very small and perfect for storing in my car. It unfolds perfectly with the press of the automatic button. The handle has a nice solid rubber grip that is much nicer than any opening umbrella handle I've had before. Overall I would purchase this again. Will update when I've had it in a wind storm, but I suspect it will hold up nicely as strong as it seems.

It seems to be a very sturdy umbrella. I always buy automatic open and close umbrellas and this one opens and closes very quickly.

It's a huge struggle to close the umbrella after it was opened.
