ion After Color Treatment

Ion After Color Treatment is the only after color conditioner I will use because it moisturizes, softens and effectively makes my hair shiny and smooth. It helps lock in color for an extended period and has a thick and thick texture so it will last longer. It's great on almost all hair types and has a clean scent as well.

I never manage to get all the extra color out of my hair when rinsing so normally when rinsing out the conditioner it's still pretty tinted with hair color There was a HUGE difference in the amount of color coming out when rinsing out this treatment. It was a very light tint. So it definitely seems to be locking in the color better 2nd... OMG MY HAIR WAS SILKY SOFT FEELING WITHOUT EVEN STRAIGHTENING. normally after dying it feels a little dry in area regardless of the product but this is all over soft 0 tangle silkiness. My hair also has random waves and is usually POOFY if air dried... this stuff made it dry straight. Like straight enough I just needed to do touch ups

I only use L’Oréal Inoa Professional hair color every 4 weeks and didn’t want to purchase their post shampoo because it’s only available in a 50 liter bottle! So, based on reviews, I purchased Ion. It. Is. Absolutely. Amazing!! The smell is heavenly!! I followed the instructions on the tube and my color looks better than ever! It didn’t say to use a conditioner after but I did. My hair color is "bronde", which is a cross between brown and blonde with natural highlights. I thought I’d try using it in place of my shampoo every other week, even though it’s designed for post-color. Well, it seemed to revitalize my hair, restore body, refresh the color after UV-ray highlights, and now it looks and feels healthier than ever! It’s almost like a boost between coloring! Great product!

I’ve always loved the ion line, and this conditioner is effective enough for average needs, but just not a “wow” for me. It does make hair feel soft not greasy and gives some shine back, but the effect is very short lived- as in the next shampoo. For background I have mixed-race medium coarse to kinky curls with a little more gray than I’m ready to admit to, but teenagers will do that. It seems like this is more of a conditioner than a treatment at least for dry curly hair.

Let me tell you a secret... i knew this product was good already. I used to buy this in store but I didnt want to drive and get it 🙃. Why is it good? I used to have damaged blonde/platinum hair (color is normally dark brown). So you know ya girl stripped it bad. When you use this, your damaged hair feels sooool soft and smooth and like its not even damaged. Well, now I dont have damaged hair but my frizz is soooo bad. This tames it and smooths hair. I dont even need to straighten it if I use this product. I recommend this no matter damaged or healthy. Helps look smooth and feels amazing
