This is a higher quality seat than compared to what comes on a standard residential mower. It was harder to install than I anticipated but had no issues once I figured it out. It is heavy due to the quality. Should fit most mowers because the brackets are adjustable. Perfect fit on my John Deere LA130. It was cheaper than OEM replacement and is more comfortable.

My old original seat was in tatters after 20+ years on my Craftsman LT1000 riding mower. I upgraded to this seat. Not a perfect fit and needed some fairly easy modifications ( drilled a few holes ) to fit on the existing seat mounting frame. All the necessary hardware was included with the new TICSEA seat. Took about an hour to install and adjust. No significant issues and an easy project for a typical DIYer. A bit larger than the original seat and seemed a bit too bulky at first. But, this is very comfortable and fully adjustable. I added new support springs on the tractor, and this seat upgrade is wonderful. I especially like the adjustable back support. The seat came with a pre-installed interlock switch included. I attached the two wires by snipping off the original connectors and used butt connectors. Works like the original switch. Very pleased with the quality of the seat. I've been using it for over a month while cutting my large lawn and it's a game changer. It's a nice upgrade and no hesitation recommending it.

This replaced my Cub Cadet ZT1 54" mower seat and so far, I love it. Note that this seat comes with a 2-wire seat safety switch. Mowers that have a 4-wire setup will either have to rig up a wire workaround or bypass their safety switch and not use the one included with this seat. Neither of which is recommended and may void warranty, so take that for what it is. I've seen one or two videos on YouTube of how to do the wire workaround, but again, warranty. I was hoping that I could switch out the switch in this seat for one that has 4 wires, but there's no clearance without ruining the seat or having to re-stitch or re-staple the fabric back to it. Not worth the effort. It was a little harder getting the tracks to line up than I anticipated, but after several attempts, I finally got everything aligned and it's a significantly more comfortable and sturdy seat than the original. Both my son and I love it and the price was way better than an OEM replacement. I prefer the new look and the ability to move the seat forward and back.

I'll start off by saying this is a really nice seat for the money, very comfortable and the adjustable back is a great feature. This was a fantastic upgrade to my JD lawn tractor, night and day compared to the original JD seat. That being said, be aware the switch in this seat is a major problem for many applications because it's a two wire normally open switch that closes when the seat is occupied. My JD tractor (and a lot of others) are wired for a normally closed switch that opens when the seat is occupied. I was able to get it working by wiring in a relay but that required a bit of work that could have been avoided if the seat switch was a 3 wire unit that allows the user to connect normally open or normally closed. Most people would not be able to utilize the switch in this seat and may end up bypassing it which isn't safe.

Works great , it has the adjustable tracks to fit on any mount that came in very handy , I put this seat on a case backhoe

I'm giving this a five-star rating because the quality of the seat was very good. I did have an issue with installation but it had nothing to do with the seat itself. It had to do with my old Benya tractor. But the seat is very comfortable and works well with my setup.

I just got this put on my husqvarna yth 18542 mower and its gonna be so much better then the factory seat. What i had to do is make 2 brackets to raise the front of the seat pan 2 inches so the seat would sit level. I drilled and bolted on 2 angle iron peices to the existing bracket then welded them so they wouldnt turn on the bolts, 2 bolts would have worked also.the seat back was just a little crooked from the factory but dont hurt anything. It looked bad being crooked so i removed the spring and moved the bolts around so its level now and still folds and adjusts. very heavy and well made, and very soft also. I would buy this seat again for sure.
