The design and make of the kit is very good. The material is of good quality. The chases have ample room for any of the off the shelf available microcontroller / sensor boards for the RC / automation projects.The customer service is excellent, the delivery was fast and well packaged. First, I just bought one kit then later decided to buy another one from the seller.

Very good kit for the price. It's worth it for the chassis and front castor alone. If they included a basic motor controller for another 5 pounds you could argue this kit world be of comparable value to the Camjam Edukit 3 which comes with an Ultrasonic Collision detector and line follwer for around the same price. I could see this selling well if it came with a motor controller too as without it, it's pretty useless.

Nice little project for my raspberry pi. Be aware you cant drive your robot directly from your raspbery pi you need a H bridge dc motor driver and its not included.

The product was good enough to demonstrate control using 2 Micro-bits and a kitronik 5620 motor driver. I think the product description is a bit overoptimistic which is why I gave it 3* rather than 4*. Additional electronics would be needed to implement the tacho encoder and the 2 geared dc motors could hardly described as intelligent! In fact without control, one of the motors ran very slightly faster then the other (this was compensated for in the Micro-bit code).You also need to be able wield a soldering iron and drill 4 extra holes for the 5620 driver to complete the construction.I think I've copied code that works in the second image. The same code is flashed to both Micro-bit's and uses button A to start and stop, and the tilt to steer; pressing button A identifies the hand held device.

I wish I could add 0 stars and never buy from this seller again.The cost of this product was 18£ , but it has nothing inside except a few pieces of plastics and gear motors.No microcontroller and motor controller.They could add a microcontroller inside , it costs less than 50 cents.As example: I bought a kit with hundreds of pieces inside , dozen of sensors and 5 microcontrollers for 30£.

This chassis went together with few problems. It'd be nicer if there were good leads soldered onto the motors, but that's not too much of a problem.

I liked this kit. I put it together in about fifteen minutes with the help of the instructions that come with it (see image of completed robot). One problem is that the speed of the gear motors needs adjusting in code as I found that one motor was slower than the other one. This was easily fixed though. Other than that minor point I am happy with my purchase.

My 11 year old grandson put it together. He watched an online video explaining how to put it together.

Me ha llegado un paquete en un envoltorio "blando", no una caja. De todas formas la estructura no parece rota.Desafortunadamente, esperaba encontrarme algunas instrucciones mínimas, pero no las he recibido. En fin, en youtube hay decenas de videos asi que no es grave.

Il prodotto è pari al prezzo: le plastiche trasparenti sono molto delicate, ma nel totale è un ottimo prodotto.

Der Zusammenbau ist sehr einfach und es fehlen weder Schrauben noch sonst was. Das Design ansprechend und die Qualität ist gut. Die Motoren laufen relativ gleichmäßig, es ist eine gute Basis um ein ferngesteuertes Auto zu bauen. Die Lieferung war schnell und der Kundenservice ist ausgezeichnet. Was will man mehr :)
