Comes with everything you need. Even a USB power plug, which wasn't in the pictures. I really didn't want to stick it onto my gear, which would interfere with moving things around, so I just dangle it in front of the receptor spot and it works fine. I was going to fashion some sort of little stand to stick it on, but found it wasn't even needed during my testing. I wish the receiver didn't have the glaring green LED, which basically must be in line of sight, but it's not enough to knock off a star. I might cover it with a piece of electrical tape if it becomes too annoying. Note the four emitters come in two pairs with just a short section of wire where they're separated. You just have to peel them apart as needed to reach different components.

Long enough cables to let me stage the receiver end in a convenient spot, while still having enough length for the USB end to reach a power outlet. It includes everything needed to get you going, including power and mounting tape. Quality feels cheap, yes, but it's designed to set and never touch again. If I could recommend one thing is to use a different USB power supply. It's nice having the included extra, but it's too cheap feeling where if anything was to be bad with this kit, it would be that (it doesn't hold in an outlet and I've had a similar one fail in a short time) I also suggest pre-planning your cable runs. Since my doors are wood, I was going to just mount the sensors on the door, so when it was closed, it could do its job. I tested a location and one emitter was able to activate multiple devices while mounted on the door, letting me operate more than just 4. This was a better solution than the bulky radio unit that came with my Logitech remote. There are several sellers pushing this exact set on Amazon, for versatility, choose the one that shows the emitters that are connected using a headphone style plug.

Title says it all baby....got more than I wanted in terms of cables and length. Otherwise easy peasy to put up....I had my stereo in a different room than my office (but I had the stereo's 2nd speakers in my office) so I wanted to control my stereo and CD player from my office...this did it. I've had for about 6 month now, and no problems...you do have to do a wall wart power for it...which is always a minor negative to this stuff...I mean everything is either battery or a wall wart power supply....I got wall warts all over da place, and battery seem to die at the worst times.

i replaced my two sb-4000 subwoofers with two sb17 subs. unfortunately, the sb17 doesn't include a remote control which was included with the sb-4000. however, the sb17 volume and presets can be (much more) conveniently controlled by the sb-4000 remote control (and powered ir repeater) than by the sub's app. the first ir repeater I tried was wireless and much more expensive but it was not compatible. so i tried this much less expensive wired ir repeater that worked without issue! the sb17 has a 3.5mm ir input jack so i did not utilize the emitters or the power block since the sb17 has a powered usb port. therefore, this review only pertains to the receiver portion. easy to setup, good build quality, good range (even works bouncing signal off ceiling), speedy with no noticeable lag, overall an excellent value!

Failed out of the box. The IR seemed to transmit a VERY weak signal. If I placed it right next to the device IR recevier, it would work. From a foot or two away, it didn't work at all.
