I purchased this because I like having the qwerty keyboard. I thought the shape would be better - it is shorter but feels larger or wider in my hand. I think I just need to get used to it. I really don't like the remotes that come with the Vizio's now. They have no keyboard and actually require you to know more about how to use a few buttons. I don't like the skinny rounded shape either.This remote's center arrow area is silcone or rubber and the remote is two toned, gray and black. My old remote didn't let me move app selections around or delete the ones I don't want and this one is user friendly. I am ordering another one. I wish these remotes were a different color because they disappear sometimes due to being obscure black. I have three D-series Vizios and this remote works fine with them.

Was really excited when I found this Vizio remote. It looked just like my original remote. Unfortunately, returned to Amazon as it wouldn't work my 10 year old Vizio flat-screen Tv.

I needed a replacement remote with a keyboard for my Vizio TV. This remote fit the bill! Works perfectly and did not need to be synced. The price was also great. 👌🏽

Pros:It’s lightweight, inexpensive, looks better than the original remote and makes typing easier. There is no setup, as it worked straight out of the box for my 70 inch Vizio V series. It shipped quickly and was delivered the following day ( purchased January 31, delivered February 1).Cons:I would have given 5 stars, but some of the buttons have no use (eg the yellow, blue, red and green in the middle) and some of the QWERTY keyboard buttons don’t work properly. Pressing the space button types the letter t, and the DEL (backspace button) types the letter b. I wouldn’t be surprised if the print on the buttons faded quickly, since a couple were already slightly faded upon arrival.EDIT: 12 weeks later…The remote hardly ever works properly. I have to press buttons multiple times for any response. If I press another button, it responds as if I pressed the previous button.

We had to replace the remote that came with our Vizio TV after one too many drops. We ordered this one for the keyboard and it is a game changer. It required no programming and is so much easier to use than the factory remote for searching things. Only complaint we have is our son dropped it and the spring popped out with the battery so we had to order a replacement; however, we ended up finding the spring and decided to just keep both. Totally worth it!!

That’s the disappointment I feel every time I press a keyboard button, only to have it register the wrong letter or symbol. It's like calling up a relief pitcher only to have them blow the save—everything falls apart.This remote had all the potential to be an all-star in every way, but the keyboard button issue is its Achilles’ heel. If Vizio could fix this, we’d be looking at a remote worthy of the World Series title. Until then, it remains a brilliant piece of equipment with a heartbreaking flaw—like those Braves teams that just couldn’t seal the deal until '95.
