Great little MP3 player AND includes SD cardUSB reader.
I received the silver version yesterday and I love it. It's quite weighty given it's small size and feels solid, not cheap plastic. I removed the 64gb SD card and transferred almost 3 thousand music tracks and found they took up approx half of the storage space on the card. This was simple and straightforward to do because of the included SD card-to-USB reader/adapter which I plugged into my laptop. BTW, I always use the 'old' Windows Media Player app because it's simple to use and great for transferring, syncing and updating from the PC to the SD card (or any other devices). Once transferred to the card, it was equally simple to put the SD card back into the MP3 player. The player took a minute to 'read' the new files then it was ready to go. I tend to listen to all my music on Shuffle setting - they're all mine anyway so I'm guaranteed to like whatever is playing and I like not knowing what's next or which genre (rock to classical, foreign language, country; George Formby to Black Eyed Peas, Mozart etc I like 'em all so happy to get a mix). The Shuffle feature works well and plays from all areas of the saved songs - the display shows which 'number' is currently playing eg: 412/2982. Sound through the external speaker isn't very good but I didn't expect it to be. However, using headphones was fine, quite rich and perfect for what I want. I also paired it to a separate Bluetooth speaker - again, a nice rich sound that I could increase and decrease with either the MP3 player or the Bluetooth speaker, with both also enabling stop/start/skip/return etc (all the usual functions). I'm no expert or sound engineer but this player suits me fine and I'm happy with my purchase but I've got to say, it was worth the reasonable price to also get the SD card reader included.

Nice little stand alone MP3 player
Nice little MP3 player for the price; easy to download files from the laptop direct to the memory card with the adaptor included. Battery life is good; the sound quality is excellent using my wired Sony Headphones. Works fine with a Bluetooth speaker, again the sound quality is good on that too. One of the pre-installed songs isn't that good quality. I've used CD's that have been converted to MP3 files and the audio is excellent, so depends on where the files are downloaded from regarding the sound quality. Also there are pre-set Graphic Equalizer setting to choose from. The built in speaker is the usual quality for a tiny speaker. The micro-SD card is a bit fiddly to remove without tweezers. 64gb is ample memory for MP3 files. Recommend putting your albums into individual folders before loading onto the card. You can set to play random songs if you wish. You can use the built in recorder for voice notes etc. Would I recommend for the price? Yes! It's only an MP3 player so doesn't play MP4 video files, but then the screen is tiny for that anyway.

At this price, you will be dancing in no time!
Edit only days later. I still stand by my review but just a quick word following. We have an allotment I've walked too a few times since buying this. At the entrance is a street light and off in a field is a radio mass, every time I'm near the music stops, then catches up by fast forwarding the song in a bid to catch up. I am not familiar with Bluetooth connectivity to see if this is a thing -yet but just to warn users if you experience similar issues, look at your external surroundings. This is a solid product, a hard wearing case familiar to the old iPods. Familiar with previous MP3 players, set up wasn't to hard. While it was charging (didn't have to wait long to full charge), I took the memory card out of the device, popped it into the reader it came with and threw some random songs in and out of folders to test the copy over. That didn't take long either. Provided headphones were ok but I'm not a fan of inner ears and have Bluetooth set to use. After turning off other paired device, it wasn't hard getting the headphones to connect. Plays good sound through them and danced around the house with the player snug in my pocket with no connection issues. Without headset musics a bit "tinny" I've no available speaker to try but it's the output that provides the quality at the end of the day. So, bought for work out in garden, no excuse now and is absolutely fabulous to tuck in a pocket while pulling weeds to a merry tune.

Surprisingly good!
I purchased this as I am sick of Apple's 'lockdown' attitude, making it difficult to copy music, etc from different devices without using their ludicrously complex and limited software -'you have to do this our way, if we let you do it at all'. Well, this device is a bit retro -screen resolution isn't great, but it is so easy to copy mp3's (and many other formats) to the generous 64gb storage. The built in speaker isn't great, but it so easy to pair bluetooth speakers and headphones - I have paired my old Bose soundlink speaker, Soundcore speaker and wireless earbuds. Works great and just what I wanted! No, it isn't so sleek and sophisticated as Apple stuff, but it works really well. You may guess I am a Windows user so I am used to freedom, flexibility and personal choice. Well done, AiMoonsa!

Good sound good battery life but....
Good value for money and sound is good. Bluetooth pairing is a bit flakey. It failed to connect to my infotainment system in my nissan so used USB instead. But I reckon it was at least 10 minutes before the music library was fully accessible. You cannot operate the music play function etc from the player you have to use the car interface. I bought this player to mostly use with buds in gym instead taking the phone. For that it's perfect! I have the same music library on my phone so won't won't bother with it in the car. I think the issue with the player is the processor. But for the price it's fine.

Bit of a fiddle but got there in the end
Arrived well within 24 hours of ordering. Managed to set the time and date with ease as it was charging up. Getting the memory card out is a tad fiddly but you need to push it in so that it pops. At first my PC refused to acknowledge it via the card reader and the player itself. Tried several times with no luck and then it dawned on me that I may need to format the card first so popped it in the player located the format option in settings and tried that. It formatted in seconds flat and after that my PC found it easily when I popped the card reader back in. Transferring the files / music is easy with the card reader. I had a job lot that I dragged and dropped from my PC and within 30 mins it was done. Couldn't find the files on the MP3 player so ended up having to look online only to discover that you need to create a music folder on the card via the card reader and your PC. Did that and then dragged everything i'd put in the wrong place into the music folder and we were up and running. On the MP3 player go to Folder > Music and it's all in there in alphabetical order. Loving it so far and am very impressed with it considering it didn't cost a fortune. It took all my music files with ease and still has 20GB of space left on it! Not sure about the battery life yet as I've not tested it for long but I am sure it'll be fine. It paired up to my headphones via Bluetooth easily and the sound quality is superb. One very happy customer.

Great unit
Great little unit. A lot smaller than I thought but very solidly made & feels quality. Interface is quite simple to use, looks quite basic compared with my Samsung Q1 but this was a quarter of the price with 4x the memory! Sound quality is very good, the only problem I have is getting the supplied earpieces to stay in my ears when walking or chewing! Deeper ear canal types or hook over would probably be more secure, otherwise a great little unit

This is a late review!
This is a late review! I bought this MP3 player back in December 2023, and it has lasted me till July 2026. Unfortunately now, the songs seem to start jumping before skipping back to the beginning, and this often happens within the first 20 seconds of a song. All songs previously played smoothly with no issues. Now around half of them (there are over 300 songs on there) have this issue, and they are all MP3 format. I have also noticed that, as much as I have listened to it since the last charge, the battery has not reduced in power at all, which is a little strange. Almost three years is a great amount of time to have this little bit of technology. It could have just been a fault with this particular player that caused the issue. Others may be fine. Therefore, I would still recommend it due to its ease of use, clear playback and good bass, and the touch button design.

Very impressive for the price.
Dang for the price im super impressed this sounds pretty good using a cheap 9.99 pair of headphones from Sony and this sounds nice. Very easy to use very much like my old Sony MP3 player almost same menu very basic but works good. It also comes with headphones USB cable and Mini SD card adapter to USB.
