I used this for a special needs puppy who had a very sensitive stomach. I used other brands before finding this and thankfully it worked well. This is my go-to for puppy food. The quality seems to be good and my pups have always liked the taste. The size is decent for what you're getting, especially if you're finally finding something that works. Seems to provide for a happy puppy with great energy levels.

I have been buying Wellness Core for years. All my dogs loves it.

Boy is this a hit. My friend runs a foster home and has a revolving door of puppies up for adoption. The kibble is medium-sized and round.The ingredients are good. The first several ingredients are deboned chicken, chicken meal, brown rice, barley, oat groats, turkey meal, chicken fat, dried plain beet pulp, and flaxseed, etc.This kibble is made in the USA but the ingredients are sourced globally. This is for puppies under one year.The puppies definitely love this food. The current price of $19.43 for 4 pounds is expensive but competitively priced. From the puppies' perspective for taste alone, this food is 5 stars. However, my friend also told me the next day that the pups had diarrhea the next day. This is typical of the immediate change of food and the only reason I rated this 4 stars as one has to be aware to work this food gradually into their diet. This is really not the fault of the food but the fault of introducing this all at once (instead of gradually) to the puppies.

My little guy only ate one kibble, offered it to another friend and her dog refused it also and she eats anything. One sniff and refused. So I can only go by that, donated it to the humane society because those babes and starving.

I have to share with you how this dog food made such a difference in my life as well as my dachshund Hedgie who had canine epilepsy! Hedgie was having seizures weekly we were going into a pet store and he had one in the parking lot in the cart. A lady came up to me and asked what I fed him {at the time it wasn't Wellness} she told me to switch his food to Wellness and it will help him, her dog had canine epilepsy too and she switched and her dogs seizures almost went away and could be off of his medication. I switched his food to Wellness and he only had seizures maybe 1 time in 3 or 4 months!!!!! I always tell everyone about Wellness and how absolutely the healthiest dog food there is!!!! I had a dachshund who lived to be 17 and I now have another dachshund who will be 17 years old in May and I just got a dachshund puppy and all of them have eat Wellness!
