picked up an '08 yz450 after previous owner got frustrated with the carb and had one of the $5 extended air screws from china, rebuilt/jetted using R&D powerbowl and this relocate screw, made life much easier getting the finicky FCR pumping right again. Can't speak for longevity but so far I think it's fantastic.

Makes life so much easier while tuning. Plus Dean from R&D was very informative with any questions that I had.

Will not fit through bowl of FCR 39mm carb

This thing broke the first time I tried to use it. I was rebuilding an FCR MX carb to put into a different bike. I thought this would make tuning it easier. It wouldn't turn either direction. I was finally able to get to to move, only because the internal spring broke. I then had to pull the carb back out of the bike and drop the bowl so I could remove the screw. The screw came out easily without any hesitation. DO NOT BUY THIS. It will break and you're spend more time pulling you carb back off the bike just so you can remove the remaining screw. What a waste of money and time.

I purchased mine from another site on October 2016 for my 2007 WR450F.After ~2 years of use, the rubber portion of the hose is disintegrating.Yes, it's more convenient to adjust the idle on the fly, but if I have to replace the screw once a year, maybe it's not. I think my next choice will just be an extended fuel screw.UPDATE 11/11/2019: Yeah, this thing is shot. 3 years of intermittent use and bumping the screw varies the idle wildly. I'm replacing it with the factory one
