Hario Cold Brew Coffee Wine Bottle, 650ml, Black

Long story short: This thing is simple and amazing, and even using pre-ground beans (Bizzy Cold Brew, most recently) gave us 2-3 mugs of that delicious nectar of life with only a few minutes of prep and an overnight in the fridge. If you want quick, easy cold brew, this is a great way to go. Long story longer: I purchased this bottle to make cold brew around 6 month ago. I am a bit of a coffee nerd (at least for the science of making coffee, even if my taste palette is still a work in progress). I was looking for an easy way to make smaller batches of cold brew, and an ad for this hit me at just the right time. I purchased this... then left it sitting on a shelf for nearly six months. I would often see it and tell myself "Oooo, I should try that", then promptly forget about it. I think part of the delay was an unconscious thought that making cold brew takes a while. I normally use one of the large devices to make larger batches of concentrate and that takes a while to properly measure out the beans, grind them, measure out the water, etc etc etc. Finally, around a week ago, I got my act together and finally used it. The first time I did , I went and did the coffee nerd thing and measured out the beans, ground them, measured out the water, put it all together, set a timer to take it out of the fridge, and so one. It was overkill. Where this battle shines is it's simplicity. It is best for the quick batch for the next day. Now I just fill up the filter about 80% of the way with course ground coffee, attach the filter to the lid, attach the lid to the bottle, take off the cap, fill to around the top of the glass, put the cap back on, give it a few shakes and stick it in the fridge overnight. Nice, simple, clean, done. Sure, the Cold Brew does taste a little better with the precise measurements and timing, but honestly, the difference for most people would be negligible, it noticed at all. My only regret is that I haven't been doing this for the last 6 months.

Started making cold brew at home and this works perfectly! It's easy to use and easy to clean. It also looks visually appealing. I'd recommend since it's practical and will help you save money!

I have several different cold brew makers, and while they all are great, this one is by far the best to take camping. We have a trailer with adjustable height shelves on the door, and this fits perfectly. It does NOT leak! I can reuse the grounds once to refill it, so it is perfect for a weekend trip. I clean it by hand even though I think it's dishwasher safe. I have not had any issue with the fine mesh filter and the glass seems durable enough. I do not remove the filter with the grounds before I pour it. When I pour the cold brew, the filter keeps the grounds in. I know the video shows it being removed, but it drips all over and I just wait until all the coffee is gone. And as I mentioned already, I reuse the grounds once. I just refill it through the filter (through the little top after removing the "cork"). Works great and I've not had any issues doing it that way so far.

So I’ve bought a few different types of cold brew bottles/pitchers/jars. This one is my favorite! It’s so easy to clean, the fine mesh is top notch and makes a flawless easy clean & steep. I’ve used it multiple times, make sure to fill half the steeper so the coffee grounds can expand in the water. I’ve left it for a few hours and over 30 hours. The steeper is super easy to remove and the bottle is great to use after. One of my favorite things is that once you put the cap on, it’s basically suctioned and air tight. I’ve tried removing the whole top off with the cap in and it’s such a struggle. When the cap is removed, the whole top comes off so easily. It dries nicely, so far no tear in the mesh even with tension and light pressing. I’ll probably buy another one just as back up cause I love it so much. It’s aesthetically pleasing, easy to clean, easy to use, and honestly will never go back to metal or bag mesh cold brew makers.

I mean, yeah, if you want a dedicated device for making cold brew - which I do - this is the way to go. Nice glass, easy to use once you realize the top screws into the filter thingy.

Probably the purchase we have used the most since we purchased it. Kids love refilling this and mom loves the iced coffee. Just warning you if you are getting this to save money you may end up using MORE coffee because everyone loves it! Also easy to clean up.

Easy to use, great tasting ice coffee. I used 35g of rough cut grounds. They recommend 55g, bit much I say. Very little sediment gets through the filter though if you used a bag almost nothing would get through. Leave it to Hario: Another great product. I may get another for tea!

The built-in mesh filter is easy to clean, and the wine-bottle shape is great for pouring and storing. Produces smooth, rich cold brew in 8–12 hours. Looks great on display too!

Ich bin ursprünglich auf meinem New York Trip auf diese Cold Brew Flasche gestoßen. Habe sie dort in einem Café mit Branding gekauft und schon mehrfach genutzt. Alles was man braucht ist Filterkaffe (im Idealfall frisch gemahlenen). 55g kommen in das Sieb und kaltes Wasser on top. Dann für ca. 8 Stunden in den Kühlschrank und man kann am nächsten Tag den Kaffee mit Eiswürfeln genießen. Die Anwendung ist so simpel, man benötigt nur etwas Geduld. Das gute am Cold Brew ist, dass durch das kalte Brühen gewisse Bitterstoffe nicht so stark durchkommen und man in der Regel einen milden Kaffee bekommt. Habe die Flasche nun 2x verschenkt und immer große Freude bei der beschenkten Person sehen können. Absolute Empfehlung!
