Product does not fit into an Fujifilm xt4, have a wedding to shoot tomorrow and need a dummy battery that can fit into a xt4. absolute waste of time, getting a refund.

I bought this for my Fujifilm X-T3 when using it as a webcam. I have it plugged into an Anker Powerport Atom III power supply. The X-T3 shows a mains plug icon on its screen, indicating it is running off mains power. My previous NP-W126 mains adaptor used two USB-A plugs and had an ugly rectangular box housing some electronics half way along the lead. When running the icon on the X-T3 would flicker between the mains plug and full battery icon. So this adaptor seems more elegant. It also works of USB-C PD battery banks. I've tried it on Anker Powercore 10,000 PD. I've given it four out of five stars only because I'd like the lead to be a little longer. It is quite a thick cable (which should be good for durability), so the coils don't stretch very easily. The shorter length might be better for you if you're using it in the field with a battery bank.

It worked with the smallrig sony 970 adapter to fuji x-s10. I bought a usb voltmeter from amazon as well, to doubletripple check while and before connected to camera. But I was still nervous connecting it. And I cannot stress enough, because it worked for me it does not mean it will work for you. Do all the tests you can before you use it. You can fry your camera if it does not work.

After I plugged it in the battery socket and turned the camera on nothing happened, then I realized this essentially fried it and the camera won't power on anymore even with a regular battery.

Der Batterydummy funktioniert absolut zuverlässig mit einem geeigneten USB Netzteil, welches wohl jeder Handybesitzer mehrfach zu Hause hat. Einziger Nachteil ist das leider viel zu kurze Spiralkabel. An sich eine super Idee, aber wenn man die Kamera auf einem Stativ platziert reicht das Kabel schon nur noch eine Handbreit unter die Kamera. Ich musste es mit einem 3m USB-C Kabel verlängern, um ans Netzteil/die Steckdose zu kommen. Selbstverständlich steht das Stativ auch nicht bei jedem direkt vor einer Steckdose. Das muss man also beim Kauf bedenken. Ansonsten bin ich sehr zufrieden damit an meinen Fuji X'en.
