I'm very pleased with this product so far. It was very easy to apply; it took me under two hours, including the time spent on cleaning the upholstery before applying this. Definitely wear gloves and a N-95 mask to keep the fumes at bay. I applied it in our garage with the door up. I then closed the garage but left the car's windows down for 6-8 hours after the application, and have noticed no odor since. Despite claims that it won't change the feel of your upholstery, I found that it does change it a bit, and for the better, in my case. It's given what was already a good synthetic leather in my Cadillac Optiq a more luxurious, satiny texture, making it seem even more like real leather. It did not alter the color or shade of the upholstery at all. It will be interesting to see how good this is at preventing staining. From the look of my terracotta-colored upholstery, you wouldn't have thought that it was the least bit dirty, but when I cleaned the driver's seat in advance of applying this product, I got quite a bit of dark staining on the cleaning rag - probably dye transfer from my pants. This was not the case on the passenger seat, which only gets used once a week or so, by my wife, or the back seat, which is almost never used. I'll clean the driver's seat again in another six months and will hope to find that it's actually remained stain-free.

This is the 1st time I used such a product and honestly I have no frame of presence, hence the 4 star review for now. I will update it based on results down the line. Application is very straightforward and everything you need is included. There is a bit of a chemical smell and recommend wearing gloves but it goes away quickly. I did all the white areas in a Model Y and almost used the entire bottle as there is a lot of surface area. It applies quickly and easily and while glossy when applied it dries invisible. I let mine dry for about 24h before sitting on the seats. Instructions say to apply every 12 months or so but test to see if water beads or not and apply only if it doesn’t. It’s a bit expensive but if it provides the claimed protection it will be worth it.

This ceramic coating for my 2026 Tesla Model Y seats does exactly what it’s intended for. It applied very smoothly, left no streaks, and left the seats (which are white) protected against potential stains. I vacillated on getting seat covers but thought I’d try the leather shield first. It did not disappoint me at all. Time will tell when I need to apply it again. I suspect I may need to reapply for the front seats before the intended time, but we shall see. For now 5- stars.

Easy to apply, low odor - it does have an odor but it dissipated overnight. I applied a light coat initially but started working more in. I applied it to seats, center consoles and door panels. My car is light grey (Ocean Coast) Rivian and it absorbed well and didn't streak. There are black sections on the door panels and those needed to be applied with more precision or it showed some streaks. I applied with the sponge then let dry and buffed in with the cloth to get a nice even finish on the black section. The light grey seemed to show less. Happy to see how it holds up and setting a reminder to reapply in 6 months.

The product is great, It creates a layer to protect the leather and it looks good. One bottle is enough for 5 seats and the armrest - the whole process took me around 2 hours

I applied the coating on my 2022 Model Y with white interior and writing this review June 2025 and my seats are as good as new. No stains and every few months I only used baby whites to wipe down the seats. Amazing product and will buy again for all my leather upholstery no hesitation.

Hatten das Problem, dass unsere Stressless Sessel mit der Zeit an einigen Stellen etwas "klebrig" wurden. Vermutlich aufgrund von Hautcremes oder vielleicht unpassenden Reinigungsmitteln. Mit dieser Versiegelung wurden sie wieder schön glatt. Auch wenn wir die schlimmen Stellen 3x hintereinander versiegeln mussten (hat 3 Tage gedauert), bevor sie wieder richtig glatt waren. Letztendlich ein top Produkt, was die Erwartungen erfüllt hat.
