A good selection that will require installation effort.
The edging is extremely sturdy and attractive. You will have to trench the area to make them more sturdy as the stakes provided are thin and not very strong.

thrilled with the 12 inch version of this!
i absolutely love this product. i had a front flower bed that got crushed by a fly by car in a wreck and i needed something to edge the flower bed. this was the exact size i needed i actually put wooden posts next to the bamboo and wow truly a beachy very authentic bohemian feel. the bamboo looks sturdy and eye catching from a distance. i used potting soil to fill the area in after setting these up. looks like a raised flower bed. its definitely very different! i think using the dark wooden half posts at each end definitely gave it that primitive oceany feel. i just ordered bamboo blinds to screen in the porch. it will all tie in. if u are thinking of giving these a try just know that they will give the look u want but closely monitor the length for what u need. i was lucky and had just enough for the front of the bed but i nearly ordered more. there is nothing else like these on the market so its worth giving it a shot. the blinds are from the same company and i will keep buying from them too. thanks for the great item also mine arrived with no posts or rods to put them up but they had some kind of paperclip looking thing attached to each end so u can hook them together. perfect for nailing onto the wooden posts at each end they can be modified to lean how u want or stand straight and tall.

Perfect edging
Perfect look around our metal garden. We wanted a beach type look and this did the job. They look like pier pylons.

Look nice, but there's a purchase limit of 3!
I bought one to see how it looked in my yard and assess durability, etc, then 2 more... the purchase limit. These look great as a bed edger in my back yard. However, unless you are edging a very, very small area, 3 of 'em doesn't go far. I found more of them elsewhere, or else this review would be very irate. I've secured them using landscape staples so as to not lose height - very easy to slip between logs and over the wire that threads them together. Wouldn't likely be a durable enough solution for a dog owner, but fine for my mainly aesthetic purposes.

Kinda worse than mediocre
The border was insanely easy to put up; which should have been a small red flag. The stakes they give you aren’t worth a flip and they don’t stay up for nothing. I had to end up digging a trench about an inch deep just to get them to stand WITH stakes. They have held up for rain but that seems to fall over frequently. A little trick I did was taking zip ties and tightly zip tying them together so they stayed up a little better.

Real wood boarder.
I wanted something different than typical edging. Saw these. Waited for a sale as I needed a bunch. I think they were between 19 and 20 bucks. This is real wood. Each post is connected to the next one, in-line, until it reaches 6 ft. I used old wire coat hangers cut and bent into a tight U to secure on the ground as I also buried them 2 inches down. Don’t expect to get a perfectly straight line when rolling them out for the ground. But that’s the charm. When done, I went back and bought more so I could do the right side of my house.
