Easy to use handle could be a little longer
Extremely easy to use and was able to catch a 5 inch lizard that worked its way into my home. Living in Florida there’s always some kind of creature around great if you’re Squamish about picking up moving creatures. Also worked for a small frog that my cat brought home as a present lol

Got 2 of these
One for front door entrance and garage.I live in Florida so there is always frogs and geckos coming through entrances unexpectedly. This trapper is very helpful to catch and release. We have been able to easily catch frogs and geckos without stress instead of chasing with napkins and cups..Cover opens and closes well.Great quality and not too big. This product has been a huge relief in stress making it so much easier to catch critters. If you have a small critter problem this will help you out a lot.We put device over the critter then you can slide the plastic cover.Frog stays in there. And then we carry to bush and release from a distance and it works well.Cruelty free. Will buy again and would highly recommend.

Humane and Chemical-Free Bug Catcher
Happy to have a way to catch bugs without harming them and safely release them outside. It takes a few tries to get used to using the product, but once you do, it works well and is a much better alternative to using toxic chemicals for roaches. The design is simple, the $20 price is a bit high for what it is.

Actually works
This guy works good little cheaply made so be careful and gentle. Have caught many wolf spiders and crickets with it.wish it was a bit sturdier and that it didn’t keep unscrewing but it works great for what I need.

nope
If you're buying this because you want to trap bugs and release them outside, this is not the tool for you. The lid that slides shut is thick, has a tab on the end, and it's balky - so unless the bug cooperates by climbing onto it and waiting patiently while you jerk the lid shut, you are going to jam the lid into the bug. It would be kinder to smack it with a shoe than fatally injure it with this lid. Also, you still have to get up close to the bug to cover it, and there is no mechanism that you twist that slides the lid shut - the handle is not in any way attached to the moving portion of the lid - you have to move the lid manually. (Second photo: where the handle attaches.) Essentially, this is a way more expensive and trickier, ineffective version of a cup and thin piece of cardboard, which I will be using from now on, having tried all the fancier bug-capture devices that ended up being failures as well. (You wouldn't think it would be that hard to invent a bug catcher that works - we can send a man to the moon, etc.)

Works perfect
We’ve been using it to catch small lizards that have been getting into our house randomly and it works EXTREMELY well. Locking lid is very helpful for peace of mind as you walk the thing outside.

Not worth it.
I mean I was able to get a bug in there. But it's not easy to slide the bottom to capture it. You have to be cautious if you actually don't want to kill the bug. I would say at best it's best for holding a bug that's on the ground. But I bug on the wall? I'm not so sure you'd successfully get it. Definitely not worth the money but I'm too lazy to return it.

Great tool!
At first when I received this item I didn’t think it was going to work but I was wrong. I have caught many spiders, bees, wasp, lizards & other creepy crawlers. But then the other day a hummingbird flew into the house. After trying to steer it to the open door to go out without success, I finally remembered this bug catcher. Didn’t know if it would be big enough but I grabbed it anyway & found the hummer trying to get out our closed picture window. I gently put the cup over the bird & closed it. IT WORKED!!! I was so relieved to finally release it back outside & hoped I didn’t traumatize it too much. This thing works great! Going to get another to keep on our four season back porch. There are always creepy crawlers back there.

Utile
Très utile pour sortir les insectes de la maison sans leur faire de mal ou les tuer. Se manipule bien, léger.

Just okay, not worth the money
Short and flimsy, not worth the price but will do an okay job

Don't bother
Sucks. May as well grab the bug with your hand. The stick is short and once the bug is inside you have to close the trap door manually. So the bug can escape. The "twisting" motion doesn't work. Flimsy junk
