There is no reason to seek out any other. I have tried various brands costing more and less. At the end of the day, you want consistency and great flavor. McCormick's tows all the lines with flavor, aroma, strength, etc... It is nearly the best chili powder out there and the price is always right. Proper Heat Level - Good Strength - Highly Recommended

This is my favorite chili powder by far. I even bring it overseas because I have not found another blend that tastes quite the same. There is something about this specific mix that makes it better than when I try to combine the ingredients myself. This is our favorite chilli powder and we’ve tried many. While it doesn’t have the initial “punch” of heat, we provide that with red chili flakes. McCormick Dark chilli powder does the rest and provides the body of flavor we like. Rich, deep, medium heat and bold chili flavor. Good price, great taste and speedy delivery.

I used to use chili powder blends a lot in the past. I later made my own mixes from various spices. However recently I was following a recipe for Sriracha mayo and this specific chili blend was called for. I was dubious but I thought I'd try it out. Upon opening I was impressed at the complex aromas. This is no dollar store blend that was ground 10 years ago haha. The Sriracha mayo tastes great and I will be pleased to use this blend in chili and other dishes. I feel like the price of this on Amazon is a bit inflated but I could find it at my local grocery stores.

American chili powder is NOT the same as Aussie chili powder (which is simply ground capsicum/bell pepper). I use this often to make hot dog chili, mexican, and countless other dishes. Much more convenient than making my own every time it's needed in a recipe. Hopefully Amazon will expand the American seasoning on offer.

I was so excited to see this sold on Amazon because UK supermarkets only carry the dried Thai chili which does not work for authentic Mexican food! This is perfect to add that great depth of smoked Mexican chilis for any dish.
