I waited before buying this. I use a lot of braid with crap scissors and have to put a lot of tension on the line and do a bunch of snips to get through the line. I don't like the feeling of rings, but I watched a bunch of YouTube videos about this and one of the guy puts it on his rod. I tried that and it didn't really work on the smooth part of it but I wrapped it around the base grip on my baitcaster. I noticed it the first couple of casts but not I don't even notice it's there anymore. It really is super easy. I just slide a line through either side and it's an instant cut. There is not real force needed to have it slice it. It's virtually impossible to get any part of your body (other than hair) in here too so no worries of cutting yourself on it, ever. It's not GREAT with cutting knots in the line but it gets close enough that I can then pull the knot from the loop. But any changed to make that happen might compromise it's safety so I'm cool with working around it. Bought a 2nd one so I have one on the end of each rod.

I like this little gizmo which is described as a quick fishing line cutter. That's not why I bought it though. I bought it to cut yarn which it does very well. I crochet and knit and it was suggested in a Facebook group as possibly being useful for carrying on an airplane to cut threads. As soon as I received it, I put it on and tried it out, showed it off, and kept wearing it because I'm a nerd. My brother-in-law later brought in food from a restaurant but the staff had tied a knot in the plastic bag so tightly that he couldn't untie it. I reached over and placed the handle through the Line Cutterz and it went through it like butter. There may be other uses for this tool no one has even thought of. I love it.

This product did exactly what I bought it for and that was to cut braided line. All cutters do the job with monofilament line or fluorocarbon, but I fish a lot of braided lines and I was impressed with the clean cut and I just keep it attached to one of my poles. I will definitely buy more and will make a great stocking stuffer for any fisherman this Christmas!

I thought the Line Cutterz ring was a great idea and other than the handmade very well. The only thing I don’t like too much is that the Velcro is uncomfortable unless you get it perfect. But once you get it perfect the whole system works like a charm.

This is my fourth line cutterz ring purchase! I needed to have them on each of our fishing poles and at this price there's no need to hassle yourself with sharing! This last one I installed on my sons kayak seat for easy access cutting or 20 pound braided line. Which we use because in a kayak you need a line that can hold up dragging you and your boat... Well good luck cutting that with your teeth and even a pocket knife takes a while , and this discourages tackle changes just because it's a pain. But I barely swipe our line cutterz ring and it slices right thru clean. No chance of accidents,even a child can not cut them self on this cool invention! Best invention ever! The first one we bought was cracked on thr glass. We contacted the company who immediately sent a replacement. The second one was perfect. My son who bought it, loved it and we wears it everyday. Loves the look and the feel of the watch. He says it works great. I can't tell you about any specs because I haven't used it myself. But the ordering process was extremely positive.

I ordered this for my Father-In-Law before he headed back east for the summer where all he does is fish. I was hoping for a better reaction when I gave it to him but that would have to wait. He thought it was cool when I gave it to him but after his first day out fishing, he was the star of the show. All his friends wanted one and he couldn't be more excited with it. The reaction I was looking for came by way of a phone call bragging how great it was and how all is friends were jealous. He now doesn't leave home without it. Also my Mother-In-Law is big into sewing. As you can guess, she immediately thought she deserved this more for her sewing more than his fishing. Needless to say, had to purchase another for her too. :)

I own two of these!!! One in my fresh water gear. One in my salt water gear!! I have the mountable one on my boat. And recently purchased the One for zippers without hesitation. Best braid cutter on the market BY FAR!! 100lb braid like butter. 2lb mono. Butter. Whatever you have to cut. This will do it. I even gifted them to my fishing family and they love them!!

This seems like a great idea but sadly it’s extremely uncomfortable to wear. The Velcro closure is so scratchy on the inside of my fingers I cut it off and turned it into a pendant around my neck instead. Not as convenient but it works at least.

Das beste Angelgadget was ich seit langem gekauft habe. So einfach und so innovativ. Es hält was er verspricht und schneidet zuverlässig sämtliche Schnüre. Das gute ist, dass es immer griffbereit am Finger sitzt oder direkt an der Rute montiert werden kann. Für mich ab sofort unverzichtbar, besonders beim Spinnfischen wo regelmäßig Köder neu gebunden werden. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und werde es weiterempfehlen.

Bought this for my wife to use with knitting after seeing it on Shark Tank, much easier than using a small pair of scissors. No idea how good it is for fishing wire, but I'm assuming it's good, considering the business is still going years after they aired.
