Well Worth The Money
Arrived in perfect condition. Fit and finish are excellent and exactly what you expect from Yamaha. Sanded down the saddle to get the action where I like it and the guitar plays and sounds great. Very satisfied.

The sweet spot
This is the sweet spot between not spending enough on a bargain guitar and wasting money on mythical nonsense. You get the same impeccable design, tooling, and consistent materials sourcing used on Yamaha’s top-end guitars, but you pay a fraction of the price. The playability is superb, the durability is second to none, and the sound is reliably good. Past here, you’re paying for fancy woodwork. 30 years playing and building.

Action too high! Need to sand down the saddle. Love the sound and quality of this guitar!
My CG192C arrived with the standard action set at 4mm, which felt too high and made fretting difficult for me. I removed the saddle and sanded off about 1.5mm. The action now is a much more comfortable 3.2mm. It made a world of difference—I absolutely love the sound and quality of this guitar!
