Excellent desolder braid
Like everything I have purchased from SRA, this is a quality product. Very good for removing solder when replacing components or cleaning off pads. Easy to use, great heat conduction, good flux component.

Gave this to my brother for his birthday. He didn't know about it and was doing a lot of soldering and unsoldering. He in now a happy camper.

Works pretty well
It's been a while since I've done a lot of electronic soldering. Fluxes have changed since then, so my comments may be off base. This wick worked pretty well, but not quite as well as wick that I used 40 years ago. Again, the changes in the fluxes and solder formulations since then may have affected the whetting ability of the weave, so this may be as good as it gets today. I don't have recent experience with similar products, so my opinion in this matter has a somewhat flawed value. Please take it with a grain of salt.

Works
I used a small amount of flux paste, and the solder effortlessly wicked off the board. The spool is compact and convenient. I’ll definitely be ordering more when it runs out. Highly recommended!

Kind of Worked
Did not wick well, at least for high-temp solder, even after adding additional flux. The high-temp solder likely contributed to the problem. Had to mix down the high-temp stuff with some regular solder and alternate between a solder sucker and solder wick. The sucker definitely worked better. Have yet to use with normal temp range solder.

Good solder wick
Very good. I accidentally ordered 2 sets of 3 but at the rate I make mistakes it is probably for the better.
