Kinetic Rock - Rock Pack - 3 Pack - Red Gold Grey

My son loves the Kinetic Rock. We bought him the construction set pack as a present, and he played with it non-stop. The rocks stick together well, but because he quite frequently would carry around the trucks and such with the rocks in them, the rocks did tend to get spilled/dropped around the house. But we tried to keep them on a play table for the most part. Inevitably, the tiny rocks that ended up on the floor did get vacuumed up, and after a while his big pile of Kinetic Rock ended up disappearing so we bought this 3 Pack set to replace the lost rocks. It came with the 3 big boulders full of rocks, in red, gold, and the gray/silver. Again, it sticks together great and provides lots of entertainment and fun, but with a four year old some of it ends up on the floor and either needs to be painstakingly picked up teeny rock by teeny rock, or just gets vacuumed up and slowly disappears until it needs to be replaced again. I'd say it took about 5 months though until his pile of rocks got low enough until we had to replace it. And even then, it wasn't completely gone, just noticeably had less kinetic rocks than what he initially had fresh out of the package

At first I was a little nervous ordering this after reading the reviews. We received it today and the kids immediately tore into it. They loved having different colors and each container had a little item or prize in the package. One of the containers was just a little dry, but was fine with some kneading and mixing. An hour and a half after opening, My 6 and almost 3 year old boys finally let me put them up. Would buy this again in a heartbeat and we actually like this more than the kinetic sand products, as it is a lot less messy. It does leave a residue but we play with it on the cardboard background that the main set came with. Overall, this is a big hit in our house!

Was supposed to be a three pack, a completely sealed box arrived, but only had two, the silver and the gold. They work well, were exactly what we wanted, but it was still disappointing to only get 2.

My son loves this stuff! I will say if one color doesn’t stay like the others try to mix it each color before giving them to your child. It’s a great addition to any construction vehicles you child already has! My son has used micro machines to hot wheels to big dump trucks and all worked great. I will say it is actual tiny rocks so it isn’t going to work exactly like kinetic sand. It can hold a shape but don’t expect kinetic sand. All and all its a great addition to the kinetic line and super fun!

The red and gold are pretty and metallic, but immediately out of the containers, only the red was stretchy and held its form. The lid had fallen off of the gold during shipping apparently, and there were dried pieces of gold all over the box. What a mess! The grey just sort of fell apart out of the container and didn’t hold its form at all either. This advertised there were 3 “accessories” included with each color/container. Only the red has anything at all, and there was just ONE tiny toy. The gold and grey had nothing AT ALL. Overall, it’s a cute concept, but this product needs a LOT of work. Ours was poorly packaged and we did not receive all the parts, so not worth the money.

Perfect! This seems to be the same kinetic rock that came in a set previously purchased for my 2 and 4yo. They love it, relatively clean, doesn’t matter if you don’t clean it up right away - won’t dry up.

Don't get me wrong I love kinetic rock but two of the containers came broken so that wasn't great.
