Non maintained Is achieved by removing the loop wire from the live terminal inside the light box, why remote activated? It’s an emergency light and should illuminate when power is lost

Received and fitted but not working correctly eg.mains light not showing it is on live I emailed got a return label sent it back 6 days ago.I think it should be replaced with a new one.Much quicker
