Splash Net Express Gorilla Floor Padding for 24ft Round Above Ground Swimming Pools

This is not a pad, I should have read description more closely. At best, it is a thick piece of landscape fabric. One half of the fabric I could get to lay smooth, the other half was impossible to get the wrinkles out due to the way the seam was sewn. The fabric was not concentric, parts were larger and others were smaller than diameter of pool. Pool is still filling so I can't tell if the wrinkled fabric will affect the smoothness of the liner itself. I can't speak of the longevity, I guess time will tell.

So, the reviews on this item are all over the place, but I took a shot and ordered one. I'll try to clarify the confusion a little. First off, and the reason I'm giving it the rating I am, and not a higher one, is because the pictures clearly show a black Gorilla Pad. The item I received is SNOW WHITE! I specifically chose this product BECAUSE it was supposed to be BLACK! Ok, now that that's settled. The pad I received was of acceptable craftmanship. It WAS very circular. Not mismatched pieces or lopsided construction as others have shown. It is a FELT LINER, NOT body armor! Don't expect this to stop broken shards of glass! I did level my site, 2" of sand sub-layer. Screeded to level. THEN the felt liner then pool. I ordered a size a bit larger than my pool because i wanted to fold the pad back to give extra padding between my pavers under the pool posts, and the pool liner. Worked great. I cannot comment on grass and weed prevention as I just installed this, but use you head and do proper site prep PRIOR. I do recommend this item but HIGHLY recommend good prep work first!

The photo when purchasing shows a Black Mat, but what you actually receive is a bright WHITE mat. To me it look bad because any part exposed shows dirt and looks bad. Black would look more like landscaping cloth.

Very Durable! Have had one for my 15 foot pool for years! BRAVO! Kept the ground hog from tearing the liner, no roots, had a bottle cap underneath and it never punctured it even after 3 grand children playing almost every day for the last 4 seasons Getting one for our 24 foot pool this year because I am impressed with how it seems to be tougher than anything my grandchildren can put it through!I would like to add that there was no mold or mildew on the liner which I am now using as a base for my Lodge Tent..multiple uses! :) Thanks Again!

All it is is a 24 ft. round weed barrier it's not what it shows in the picture as being padding what so ever. It will keep weeds, rocks, roots and etc. from coming through. Just not padded...

We bought this thinking we was putting up an 18' pool. We changed our mind and bought the larger 26' pool instead. I know the Gorilla pad is only 24' but we stretched it out, flopped it on the ground that was terribly unlevel and so much grass/small rocks. I'm honestly surprised at how well this is working since we didn't do much prep work before we literally "threw" the pool up and filled it. We plan on taking the pool down and leveling it and making it more long term. But I have to say, for what we did on that HOT day back in May, it has kept us from having punctures and keeps the ground feeling softer under our feet. I have recommended this to everyone with a pool.
