Gorilla Floor Padding for Above Ground Swimming Pools Size: 21 Foot Round (NL124)

Seems to be protecting the liner from most of the sharp rocks, twigs,etc. Be careful not to lay it on the ground until you are ready to put it in. It picks up anything that touches it and you have to hand pick everything off it!Update: 3 years later I would tell anyone putting in an above ground pool you better have this pad. Period. I had moles eat way under the liner and have trenches everywhere but not one leak (knock on wood) because they couldn't tear through this liner. It doesn't seem that sturdy when you install it - but man is this stuff tough.Finally took the pool down 6 years later, and this did its job well. The moles were just too destructive and burrowed so dip did eventually the pool liner stretched too much into the deep trenches and leaked in a few places. The liner was never penetrated even when some gnarly roots grew under it and were very sharp. this is the best liner and did its job!

We had a Gorilla Floor Pad with another above ground pool and it was a lot sturdier and soft than the one we just purchased. We'll be using it, because we need it to get our pool going, and just hope it holds up as long as the last one did (9 years).

I love this floor padding. I gave it to my pool installer and he installed it, so I can't comment on the ease of install. I can tell you that it really keeps the floor smooth and rock free. I am yet to see how it holds up to the first winter so I could give an update next summer. Don't purchase this pad thinking that you are getting a soft cushion under the liner, it definately is for liner protection.This pad is a great alternative to what they sell at the pool store at a fraction of the cost. Also, this is a one piece pool pad, so no worries of joints or tape.

this is the best product ever for liner protection. I thank the pool guy who turned me onto it. 1 season down with it and almost ready to open the pool for this year. Everything still has water from the winter so it must be doing it's job. Do yourself a favor and get the foam cove also. Makes the job SOOO much better.

Horrible product, super cheaply made. Very thin like paper. Tried to return it and get the run around, finally said they would refund it but charge me 20%. DONT BUY. USE SAND

It did the job.... I laid it on rocky clay and then a tarp and then then the 20 ft summer waves elite pool.... No tears or rips.... The liner is very thin... But I guess it works!

From what I read in the reviews, it was exactly what I expected. A large round semi thick felt disk.We have a 20 x 20 round above ground and decided to forgo the sand and try this instead.Luckily it works well right on top of the dirt. I had to level the area a little and spend some time grooming the dirt to eradicate all rocks.Once I had it down where I wanted it , I slowly walked on it with bare feet feeling for any missed rocks. I found a few and in the end with the pool up full of water, we love it so far. Its thick enough that it does pad the ground a little, enough to make comfortable on our feet. So for what ever reason you don't use sand, this is a good alternitive.

This was worth every penny spent! I am so glad that I put underneath of my pool! My yard for some reason from people that lived here hundreds of years ago. Broken glass in my card so now this Mat has protected my pool like you cannot believe!

Very easy to use, shipped and delivered within a day of purchase. A bit surprised by the material, was expecting it to be more vinyl like. No regrets so far!
