Extremely useable.

Drive failed on me
Drive failed after 1 year. Still have it and try occasionally to mount/format but of no use. Was great for the first few months then it started slowing down so I used it less. Went back to pull files from it after ~a year and it won't mount/format.. Totally unusable except as a lightweight doorstop.

Hard drive was barely used, only used for a few backups. When I needed to recover the data, it was dead. The drive was kept in extremely safe and secure conditions, never received a single drop, never was abused, software or hardware side.
