Pure Planet - Red Marine Algae Plus

This stuff totally eradicated the virus from my system. A Little About Me: I acquired the herpes virus 2 (down there) in my very promiscuous 20s and it has been in my system for decades. Every two to three months I could look forward to a painful breakout that lasted about twelve days or so - slowly rising pain till it maxes, then decreases until it finally stopped as the painful boils slowly disappeared. As time progressed, I found out about Red Algae and decided to try it. November 2013 - I bought 2 bottles and followed instructions, "Take 4 capsules daily." First bottle: I was already healing up from a painful breakout. Within two or three days of starting this product, something very odd happened. My breakout tried to start all over again. The subsiding pain started rising again for two days. This is how I know this wonderful supplement had made a direct hit and the two were at war. After two days the pain subsided as usual until it ended. I continued taking 4 a day until the bottle ran out. Second Bottle: I took 4 capsules religiously, every twelve hours instead of every 24 - at 11 AM, and at 11 PM - until bottle ran out, My goal was to flood my system with this fighting agent. June 2014 I am proud to truthfully report that I have experienced no more breakouts since I started taking this supplement eight months ago. Now six months into the following year, I should have had at least two breakouts by now. Disclaimer I am a 50 something year old man who stands at 6 feet and weighs 195 pounds. I can only tell you what I did and how my body responded to my own Red Marine Algae Plus regimen. I am not of a medical background and cannot even tell you whether or not I can close to overdosing on the product, but I can tell you that it has worked for me! Scientists say the Herpies virus lays dormant deep inside us when it isn't erupting on the surface. I believe it is constantly doing things unawares. I saw a report in resent years that Herpies has been found in the brains of deceased Alzheimer patients. I know from my own experience, my breakouts had become more painful with age. I'm so thankful I'm now free!

Previously I had been using lysine to help prevent cold sores and help get rid of them when I had a break-out. Unfortunately, lysine wasn't working like I wanted it to. I do not like using prescription pills for cold sores because they are not good for your body. After a bad break-out of cold sores on my upper lip, a co-worker told me about red marine algae and how it helped his daughter stop having cold sores. I read up on it and decided to try it. I have been using it for about a year now and the results have been great. I have had only two cold sores since taking red marine algae and they were minimal. My lip did not get swollen, the cold sores were small, and went away fast. It's been awhile since I have had a cold sore and I think the trick is consistency in taking the red marine algae every day and if you feel a cold sore coming on, taking a lot of red marine algae until you feel the threat is gone. I will take an average of 3-6 pills per day. When I feel sensitivity on my lip, I will take up to 12 pills or so per day. I do realize each person is different and others may not need as much as I do. For anyone who gets cold sores, they know how much they suck. I feel the money spent on this particular brand of red marine algae is worth keeping away cold sores. This Pure Planet Red Marine Algae Plus brand has two different strains of red algae and if you look at other products that are cheaper, they do not have the same ingredients as this one. This is the only brand I have used and am going to stick with it because of my results. I highly recommend.

I’ve gotten cold sores since I was a kid. As I have aged, hormones & the stress of being a grown-up have caused them to occur more frequently. Like- ALL THE TIME. I literally have to carry Releeve wherever I go because I never know what could trigger an outbreak. Wine, chocolate, coffee, cold, heat, tomatoes, looking at me cross-eyed, fuzzy sweaters, stoplights and shall I go on...?? Basically, life in general is hazardous to my lips. Doctor suggested medications that I could take for the rest of my life but I wanted to try everything / anything else first. I have to give props to the reviewers before me because I found this stuff via Google! This is my method for dosage- For an outbreak take 6-8 per day at two hour intervals for 3-4 days. This will drastically reduce duration and healing time. If you don't currently have an outbreak and are just starting- I take 4 per day (2 AM & 2 PM) for the first week. After the first week, I reduced it to 2 in the AM everyday with the rest of my vitamins. Additionally, if you are exposed to illness or large groups of people (like an airplane) pop a few more before and after exposure and it will boost your immunity. Haven’t had a cold or the flu in almost 3 years. Totally worth it to me!

This is a helpful tool in keeping the cold sore virus at bay. My only concern is that the potency seems to vary a bit from one bottle to the next. The label suggests 4 capsules a day. When I followed that dose, it was moderately helpful (better than not taking anything). Then I read another reviewer report taking 12 a day(!) when cold sores were "brewing". This made me a bit bolder, and I experimented with upping the dose. At times, taking as much as 8 per day has helped, but I'm reluctant to resort to such a high dose often. I have settled on 3-4 capsules daily. But here are the other tricks in my bag that have helped just as much (maybe more): 1. GET MORE SLEEP. Really! This seems to make more difference than anything. Even if I have to resort to a sleep aid, it's worth it to give my body the rest it needs to recover. 2. Try Nature's Way B-Stress with Siberian Eleuthero, 100 Capsules . The virus seems to love stressed out nerves; this supplement helps the body deal with stress, especially with the added Siberian Ginseng, an effective adaptogen, according to some research.

Several years ago I got my first cold sore after getting sick with the flu. Since then during times of stress I would get an outbreak. During one of my last outbreaks the pain would not go away even after the sore was gone. The pain was horrible. It ran down my jaw to my right ear. I thought I would go insane so I started researching what to do naturally. That’s when I came across RMA. I chose this product because it has two different RMA plus a blue/green algae and I tell you it works!!! Within a couple days the pain was gone. Now I take 3 a day to prevent cold sores. I am a nurse so I’m exposed to everything and anything that comes through my ICU and I can honestly say I can’t remember the last time I’ve had the flu or a cold. I will say when I feel a cold coming on I up the dose to 3 in the morning and 3 at night.
