Great product; simple to install!
I bought a wood pedalboard off eBay and while it was very well constructed, didn't have enough inputs for my needs. It had two soldered inputs on either side, but I needed more on the left side of the board. Not being versed in how to use basic tools or knowing how to solder, I wanted something easy to install. These solderless 1/4 inch inputs fit the bill. It took my buddy all of 1 minute to drill two holes in the wood (and he showed me how simple it was; my drilling phobia has now vanished) and I was immediately able to use them. Simple, easy and they work. Can't beat that. Buy them; use them.

Exactly what I needed
I was surprised how hard it was to find TS / TRS (also called 1/4") connectors that can be flush mounted. Lots of basic "couplers" but not really a lot of choices for installation ready components. These are exactly what I needed and they're performing perfectly.

Good but potentially fragile
Ordered four of these for my pedal board and I am happy with the convenience they provide for breakdown and setup time when playing live. They work fine and don't seem to affect to be quality. However, I accidently pulled one apart and broke it! The "sleeve" is only wedged over the bottom portion and can be pulled apart if not careful. Also the cable locks are very tight when removing cables but, just be conscious of that and you won't have a problem. I give my cable a little wiggle when pulling. So far I am happy with this product and would recommend for someone looking to step up their pedal board game!

They need to make these more sturdy
These solderless sockets seem to lose their integrity very soon. I just don’t have any confidence with these in my ruach board anymore. I go direct to the pedal now instead of through this
