Great budget Android phone for under $200
I am currently evaluating this as a webcam for my laptop (using the Camo app) but I have also been just playing around with it to evaluate it as a smart-phone. My main phone is a Google Pixel 6 but I am impressed by this budget phone. The phone definitely does not feel cheap and I think the camera is one of the bigger features in that its a better camera than you usually get for this price. I bought it for this reason as I want to use it (hopefully) as my webcam (note I am having connection issues with Camo so TBD).The screen is nice and big, its hard to even really notice that much difference at first glance from a high-end phone. The form factor is good as well. The back of the phone is a finger-print magnet but that might not matter if you have a case.My 2 gripes are 1) Realme UI and 2) Performance. For the life of me I don't know why they don't just use stock Android UI which looks great. Realme UI is fine but not as good as stock so I don't know why they don't just use stock. Performance is the most noticeable difference to me from a high-end phone. The phone just feels a bit more sluggish. You can speed it up a little bit but reducing animation speeds (using developer options). For a $200 phone this is expected as you are always going to have trade-offs.I still gave it 5 stars bc I think its a really solid budget phone, especially in terms of the screen and camera.
