Great resource for understanding software to manage free trade agreements & customs declarations
Similar to the first book in the series, this book does a great job mixing instructions on configuring SAP GTS with tips & advice on how to use GTS in the context of a trade compliance program. The focus of this book is on preference programs and import/export declarations. With major trade agreements like TPP and TTIP in the news so much lately, this book is relevant and timely for the global trade practitioner. I found the step-by-step flow of the GTS setup instructions to be very easy to understand. There are also a number of examples where the printed versions of the NAFTA cert. of origin, the entry summary, and other documents are shown alongside the related GTS screens. This is really helpful for understanding how the data in the GTS screens relate. The examples used in the preference section, with pictures, swim lane and flow diagrams, BOM structures, and other visual tools, do a great job making a complicated topic easier to understand. Another strong section of the book is the classification and audit sections, which are packed with real-world advice on these two topics, and identify some of the more common errors that the authors have seen companies make. My only gripe with the book is that some of the screen shots are quite small, to where it is difficult to read all the labels and text on the screen. If global trade software is a topic that interests you, you’ll definitely want to give this book a look.

A good user-manual
I do fully agree with Greg Davis' Review. For me it is already too much of a user guide - you have to be familiar with SAP in General, with SAP-GTS and with the areas the book is about. You should be a specialist in Preference and Customs Management - otherwise you won't like it.
