Good build quality, provides a real sense of security.
This door exceeded my expectations in build quality. I didn't expect that much given it's price. First of all be aware it is VERY heavy, it took two of us to get it into place and it was quite a struggle. I was worried that installation would be difficult but it was quite simple. The door has its own built in threshold so it sits right on the floor as you install the lag bolts. I installed this in a home we had built so I was able to have the foundation poured to enclose a 8'x6' room that my porch was then poured on top of, so I now have a small room completely enclosed in concrete and sealed shut with this door. After installing it I am quite certain that no one would be able to enter this room without some significant effort and specialized tools. I then finished it off by installing a barn door to make it a little more discreet. I am very happy with the finished product. I have provided some pictures of the installation so you can get an idea of what it looks like when complete

This is a great door easy to install.we secured the walls where the door is installedalso. Yes it could be broke into but they better bring a lot of wrecking tools but the cops should be there by the time they get in. I highly recommend this door.

The safe door is very functional, overall worth the price. My only issue is the door casing was bent in the top left corner. I would speculate this was caused by shipping. I was able to bend it back to a usable state but the blemish will remain. Not worth an attempt to return.

I thought it would be heavier
I asked the delivery driver how heavy the pallet/vault door was and he showed me the shipping label which said 360 lbs. I find this very hard to believe. I was hoping that this would have been heavier duty than it is. There is a ton of slop in the door when it is closed - I jiggles about 1/4" and the handle/knob is also loose. The knob does have a set screw I may be able to adjust to fix the handle. The promotional items shown on SnapSafe's website are for purchases made exclusively on their website - not on Amazon.
