Does an excellent job of blocking radio waves from my car key fob.
I purchased this set to block RFID for my car fob. I bought a new car that does not require a key to start it. It reads the RFID from the key fob in my pocket. The downside to this is that thieves will try to use equipment to read the signal coming from inside your house or even from your pocket. I received this product and put the key in the box and went out to my car to confirm that it would not unlock until I opened the box. I repeated the same test for both pouches. Again, the car would not unlock until I removed the fob from the pocket. Note: the pouches can also be used to keep credit cards, toll cards, etc in that you don't want read.

Perfect!
Good size. Can put up to 8 or 9 key fobs in it.

Box is great, bags too dinky.
The box is a useful size for our four key fobs. The included bags are way too small for our average sized key fobs to be stored in. I had to order larger pouches for the fobs to fit in.

Shieldinng Keyless Entry FOB
My keyless entry car battery started to fail with a seemingly "dead" fault. After starting the car with jumpers, I took it to AAA and had the battery evaluated. The battery turned out to be in excellent shape, holding a charge and keeping it. So, why would the car not start without jumping it. The dealership could not, or would not, suggest a solution. I found out by accident when I would walk near the car with the FOB on my person, I could hear a "clicking" noise coming from the car. Found out that keyless entry mechanisms send signals at various intervals to see if the FOB is nearby. My solution for this was to remove the battery from the FOB to see if the "dead" car battery symptom disappeared. The "dead" car battery problem never returned after keeping the FOB battery removed until I needed it to start the car. However, removing the FOB battery every time when not using the car became a PITA. I had to find another solution. Your Faraday Box did the trick. Now all I have to do is place the FOB in the Faraday Box when the car is parked in the garage or driveway.

Mostly works, not 100%
Looks really nice and I like the separate individual pockets that come with it but when I put my fobs in this, close it, and walk up to my vehicle, sometimes the vehicle sees the fobs and unlocks. Not always but if I wave the box around or position it different ways the signals sometimes reach my vehicle. I don't want to have to worry about this when some lowlife with a scanner sneaks around my house at night and find just the right spot to pick it up. Looks nice, though...

Smaller than I thought (which is my fault)
Clearly, I should have looked at the dimensions of this box. As someone who has 4 cars, who needs to store 6-8 key fobs at any given time, this box is on the small side. I currently have 6 fobs in there (3 of which are still wrapped in foil from storage prior to this box), and there’s no room for anything else. I am using the included pouches for the other 2 fobs at this time. The fact that it is small for my needs, which is not typical for the normal user, is no fault of the box, so I still gave it 5 stars.

Bottom line it works
This Faraday box with the 2 pouchesWorks well with my push button start auto. I use the pouch during the day when at home to prevent anyone from reading my remote and starting my car. At night I put the pouch with remote in the box, that way there is no searching for car remote when it's time to drive .
