Effective collar
I think this collar helps our dog with fleas and ticks. Seems as it looses its effectiveness after 3 months time. We’ve been using this brand for a year now and are really happy that it is non toxic and safe for our pet.

Collar does not work. Spot on does.
I have three dogs and two cats. The first time I tried these collars I thought maybe I did something wrong lost track of time but they advertise good for four months so I decided to try them on my dogs. Same story at least once every couple days I can pull a tick off my animals doesn’t seem to be stopping them at all now I won’t say the same about the spot on treatment or the spray treatments but this collar this is a joke and I’m now out 90 bucks on two cats and three dogs because I didn’t quickly enough go to do the return. I was trying to give it some time to be objective. I thought maybe there would be a I was trying to give it some time to be objective. I thought maybe there would be an accumulative effect after wearing it for a while but this morning between five animals so I’ve pulled out three ticks . really annoying won’t ever buy again really lost a bit of faith in wondercide of whom I’m quite a fan. Actually, I love the idea of all the natural stuff, but these collars are a joke.

It Works!
This is the only product I've used that eliminates the ticks from taking a ride on my dog and into the house. And it smells really nice!

Seems to work but comes apart
I got one for each of my three dogs. They've worn them for just over a month - including 4 days at a rural boarding facility/horse ranch. I had expected fleas because of the huge field they had to play in. But they came home flea-free; I check them regularly with a flea comb. Only thing is, it has two parts - the collar that fastens and a thinner treated strip that I think is supposed to be attached to the inside of the collar. But when I unrolled the collar to put it on, the treated strip separated and I applied several strips of duct tape to hold it together (thus only 4 stars). I like that this is a natural repellant. They have peppermint and rosemary; I avoided the rosemary because several people in groups I follow said rosemary can be toxic to dogs. At first, the peppermint scent was a little overwhelming (to me) but the dogs didn't seem to mind. They're supposed to work for 3 months. My pups have no fleas, so I'll buy these collars again - even if I have to tape them together.

Good alternative to traditional prevention
We’ve been using Wondercide collars and the yard treatment for years now. Our pup has epilepsy so normal flea and tick prevention options don’t work as they can lower the seizure threshold. We have him groomed every 6-8 weeks and over his 6 years we’ve never gotten a report about an infestation. The collar smells great, a bit strong during the first week or so but its smell becomes more mild over time. Compared to traditional options it’s quite inexpensive and a great alternative if you don’t want to load your dog up with chemicals. The collar has a pull tab so you can separate it right out of the package and it’s so large it would fit no matter the size of your dog and you can trim the excess accordingly. Love their products and it helps keep our pup safe in multiple ways.

Not worth the money
My dog very suddenly got fleas. Not sure if we had a stray animal come through our yard or what but they came kind of out of nowhere. We’ve lived at our house for 9 years and fleas have never been an issue. But a couple of weeks ago I found fleas on him. Picked a bunch off. Did a flea bath and capstar and picked the rest off. For the most part no more signs. Continued capstar for a few days and added this collar. We also had an our yard retreated during this time and laundered everything possible , vacuumed the rest, and diatomaceous earth on the couch. After stopping the capstar, the fleas are back. The collar is basically doing nothing at all. I will say the fleas are maybe “slower” than normal fleas, they’re easier to pick off and not as jumpy. So maybe that’s the collars doing, but definitely not preventing them from getting on him. I picked 20 off of him again last night. I personally wouldn’t waste the money on this again.

Only lasts 1 month tops
This claims to work for “up to 4 months” but it really only lasts for 1 month MAX. I am looking for a more natural flea collar but I’d have to buy one every month just to make sure it works. I feel like it’s a waste of money overall. I’m going to keep looking. Not with it to me.
