Magic Tree House Graphic Novel Starter Set: (A Graphic Novel Boxed Set)

MTH is a cute series. My kids will only read graphic novels, and this series did not disappoint. I hope they make more of the series in the future.

We have the entire series in chapter book form. My 7 year old was struggling with reading this year and was a little behind compared to his peers, so we needed something that would catch his interest to help give him that push to read more. He loved these graphic novels and has read them numerous times. It has helped to improve his reading abilities and catch him up with others in his grade.

Our family has read many of the Magic Treehouse Books in the past, which we've really enjoyed. It's the perfect combination of adventure and mystery that my kids love. However, I was looking for something a bit different to try and entice our 8 year old to do more independent reading after many complaints that she "just doesn't like to read".I finally stumbled upon the concept of graphic novels, and let me tell you, our reading journey has been much more enjoyable! Something about the words being broken up on the page in comic book format, and the pictures themselves - our 8 year old blew threw this particular series within two days. She was engaged, interested, taking the initiative. The best part is that this naturally came with reading comprehension, which was lacking previously. She was able to recall parts of the story in detail and tell me about it, without prompting.10/10 would recommend!

My 7 year old doesn’t enjoy reading chapter books very much, but now he wants to read the regular magic tree house series because he loved these comics so much! The books are good quality and illustrations are perfect. They’re great for new readers and it’s a good way to introduce the series.

My niece is all about graphic novels, and I read these books when I was her age. So glad that there's an adaptation that's the best of both worlds for us - my niece gets a graphic novel, and I get to share books I loved as a kid.

My 9 year old doesn’t like chapter books, so I got this set of graphic novels to read. They arrived yesterday and this morning he informed me he was up until 10pm sneak reading with his night light, and he got up at 6am to finish them. All four books. They are so good, your child will sacrifice sleep. He hopes the Titanic book will be next to turn into a graphic novel.

I bought these books for my 9 yr old son who doesn't have much of an interest in reading and struggles .He LOVES these books , he can read them on his own and they capture his attention , he asked for more!
