Will the 1 inch bushing allow for a 1 inch pipe?

If you mean the center hole on the well seal, that is made to fit around 1” pipe. The 1” bushing for the wire connection is tapped to fit 1” pipe if that is your question.

Poor tolerances and finish

The 5” well seal would not fit inside a 5 inch well casing pipe. I ground and polished almost every surface to make it fit.
