Das boot
Love these boots. Had the version 2 and 1. Last a long time. Great support. Great multifunctional boot for everyday wear or trekking a trail for mixed weather conditions.. As said, I've had previous versions of this boot and would happily recommend for its durability, quality, comfort, weather resilience and value for money.

Merril Moab 3 top quality, great fit and comfortable at a great price
Third pair of Merrill Moab shoes, great fit out of the box comfortable and great sole grip whether walking around the town, on forest trails or on the hills and rocky paths. Gore-tex works well never had wet feet and the fit for me is perfect as I have wide feet these moats have plenty of space across the shoe.

Great shoes. Poor choice of colours in my size.
I like Merrell footwear. I have owned several pairs of different types. They have all been a good fit, comfortable for long hikes over several days, and have proved very durable. My latest purchase of the Merrell Men's Moab 3 Hiking Shoe is no exception. It fits well, has good grip, and is comfortable. It is cooler and lighter than a boot in hot weather. My reason for giving "only" 4 stars is that the selection of colours in my size (12) was pitiful. I had planned to buy two pairs but the only suitable one available in my size was the "Pecan". That is OK, but not exactly what I wanted.

Excellent
Fits really well - sizing is bang on. Looks good and are incredibly comfortable. They nicely grip the road or pavement, even when it's wet out. I've worn Merrell Moab 2 shoes for years and expect these to be every bit as good and long lasting.

Good as Usual
I usually buy a pair of these as soon as i notice my current pair are on their way out. I walk fair distances mostly suburban and they are primarily used for that purpose. Comfortable, they do wear well, recommended.

600+ miles in...
I bought these shoes in preparation for walking the Camino Frances, 500 miles across Northern Spain. I saved the review until I was back - having walked the 500 miles, plus several long walks beforehand to get into shape; the total must be well over 600 miles. From the start I was impressed. My walking boots before had been 'proper' fell boots, heavy and leathery. These immediately felt light - little more than trainer weight - and comfortable; even on the first few miles I had no issues with rubbing or soreness. And hundreds of miles in I can say much the same. It would have been phenomenal if there had been no issues at all on the 500 mile trek; but I did have just a couple of small blisters and a problem with a toe caused by an adjacent nail. Most people I walked with at various stages were far worse off. I'm back now, and have just given the shoes a thorough clean; then I'll be using them again. They show signs of wear now, but are still serviceable, and I'd say they probably have another couple of hundred miles left in them.

Love these shoes
Bought primarily for work use but I also use for mtb cycling and they are not only very comfy but not too heavy either. Im not sure id pay full price as these arent the goretex version, but at the offer price they were great value.

What a great boot
I had worn my previous Karimoor walking boots into the ground and now was the time to replace them. I was just delving into my new foot are phase and diligently researched all types of walking boots/shoes, within my budget of course. I would read reviews and then check the price on some and think I could but a second hand runaround car for the same price as some of those shoes, you know the ones I'm talking about, the ones made of yak skin that have been made by wizards in DUMB's. So after doing my research I took a chance on the Merrell bad boys and am so pleased I made this choice. Sturdy, solid comfort, and they look great too. Only thing I would question is the waterproofness of them, maybe I need to dub them up, I'll try this and report back. Other than that I would say go for it, go for Merrell.
