How to Set-up Wifi Adapter: Step 1: Connect the USB interface of the WiFi adapter to computer USB port(Support USB2.0/3.0) Step 2: The computer control panel opens the AutoPlay function or check “Driver_Disk” to install the driver software Step 3: Select proper file for your system”Windows/Mac”.Then choose your network and enter the password Dual band usage instructions: This is a dual band WiFi dongle, adopts the newest WiFi standard 802.11ac. But there are something you should know before you make a complaint about speed. 1. You must have a dual band WiFi router with 5G band if you want to have a 5G signal. 2. The max. speed up to 433Mbps just works when you connect to 5G band, otherwise, it will just run at the max. speed of 150Mbps with 2.4G. 3. If your computer is desktop, speed is not ideal, you can try to insert the WiFi adapter into the back USB port of you PC, that may guarantee the power supply. 4. This WiFi adapter will not boost the speed of original router, it just transmit the wifi signal. 5. If your WiFi adapter is closed to the router, and you want to have fast speed in watching video and playing online games, we suggest that you should connect to the 5G band. If your WiFi adapter is far away from the router, and you just want to surf the website, you’d better connect to 2.4G band for better and stable signal. PACKAGE LIST: 1 x AC600 WiFi Adapter with Antenna 1 x User Manual

Better than I had hoped for
After upgrading my internet service from slow DSL to satellite, I could no longer use the CAT5 cable to connect my desktop to the modem. Not wanting to invest $40+ in a compatible Wi-Fi card that would fit my M/B, I decided to give this a try. Running Windows 10 Pro x64, all I had to do was plug it in (USB 3) and within seconds was online! As both the satellite modem and Dish Hopper are 2G and 5G capable, I was good to go at speeds equal to or faster than my previous CAT5 connection. No wires, no hardware, no drivers or software to install! Now that's what I call plug and play! The signal strength is no problem at 25 ft and the LAN works flawlessly. I highly recommend this although I have only been using it for a week or so.Oh, yeah, I bought a second one for my wife's upgrade from Windows 7 to 10 as her PCIe Wi-Fi card will become obsolete.

Never got WPA to work. Interface is annoying. No support at maker's website.
It is not Plug n Play. You have to install from the included mini-disc, reboot, plug in the device, and then use the mildly confusing interface to set up your access points. For my Windows 10 Pro installation, I had to update the driver thru Device Manager then go back thru the annoying interface and delete and re-add the access points. The icon in the tray never turned green even though it was (finally) working. The software interface is klugey due to bad design and lazy coding. I never got WPA to work. I have 42 years as an IT professional. My advice: make it PnP, redesign the interface just a bit, and get someone raised in the UK or US to edit the manual. Then make the manual, installation, and drivers available online.

If you have a cable company dual band modem and want full speed internet look no further.
If your cable company's modem broadcasts in the slower but longer distance 2.4 band and the faster but shorter distance 5.0 band and you can't see the 5.0 band to get the advertised maximum speed get one of these for each lap/desktop. We went from 15mps on the 2.4 band to between 50 and 90mps on the 5.0 band. Simple as installing the software on the provided disc, plugging in the dongle and entering the password for your chosen network. Stable, reliable and solved 9 months of fighting with Comcast (those imbeciles). Comcast even bought 3 of these for us in exchange for the trouble.Couple this with a $40 used Ebay Netgear beam technology router to override the weak ass one in the modem you rent and you're set.

Works Fine, Won't Start Reliably
I bought this for use with an older computer which did not have a built-in dual-band wi-fi adapter. The Lesvieo adapter works fine and gives much better (faster) performance. The only problem is that I cannot get this adapter to start up reliably when I boot up my computer. Sometimes it will start on its own, but after a SEVERAL MINUTE delay. In other words, after all my other startup programs have loaded, I have to wait 2-3 minutes before the Lesvieo adapter starts and give me an internet connection. Other times it won't start automatically at all, and I have to start it manually. That's a nuisance.

Works just fine - you will need a CD Drive
Hooked up, installed software - YES, a CD Drive is needed to run this USB wireless card. That was a bit of a challenge for my Dell Inspiron, since I opted not to have one. I uploaded the ~200MB to the internet and used a category 5 cable to access the internet. Software installed easily, found the network and worked just fine. Speed seems acceptable.I took off a star because I thought this would be a bit smaller than it is. I was hoping for a similar size to my USB logitec blue tooth mouse dongle but it's about a 3/4 inch sticking out of the USB - about 3 times the size of the mouse dongle.

Stopped working after a couple of days
Worked with my mac on High Sierra but stopped working after a few days and caused my mac to keep rebooting. I was afraid to buy another one and it do the same thing. So I found another brand and it has been going strong for a couple months now. The brand that works with High Sierra and has been stable is Glam Hobby OURLINK 600Mbps AC600 Dual Band USB, just make sure you have the latest mac driver for the wifi usb dongle.

Dead on arrival
I purchased this wifi adapter to replace the aging built-in wifi adapter on my Lenovo W520 laptop. However, the USB adapter does not work at all on W520. I tried all USB ports and Windows 10 could not identify the adapter. Windows simply complains that the USB device malfunctions. This device needs some basic quality assurance and compliance tests with different systems.

AWESOME Adapter!!
My laptop is only a couple of years old, but it suddenly lost the ability to find my wireless internet. One of the guys at work told me about this little device, I ordered it on a Friday afternoon and received it on Sunday, plugged it in to the USB port and instantly it found and connected to my wireless internet!! Couldn't be happier!! Thank you!!
