Installed on clock that had quick working. Easy to install. Working well. Great price. Measure existing clock for length of threaded protrusion and buy correct one for replacement.

While I was a bit disappointed this wall clock's pendulum motor only lasted about 3 1/2 years, the Youngstown clock and pendulum replacement motor was an ideal fix. I like that it's an all-in-one assembly and just takes one battery. The pendulum swings farther and with more speed than it ever did even before when the clock was new. Couple of things to consider before purchasing. First, be sure you can get your clock apart and get the old motor(s) out. This particular clock had 4 small screws plus strong glue holding the face inside (the front glass does not open), and I had to saw through the adhesive with a razor blade which was the most difficult part of the entire task. Also, once your old motor is out, measure the depth of the shaft (the part that holds the hands) and buy the replacement piece that is closest to what you have already. On this product I believe four different shaft sizes are available. Last, be aware that there is no replacement pendulum included so you'll have to use your old one. It does include three different sets of hands (all different lengths) but I reused the old ones. There's also a sweeping hand that rotates once per minute if you want, but I left that off and it works fine without it. The motor is very quiet as well. Highly recommend this product!

Overall, this product works really well and does exactly what I needed it to do. It feels sturdy, performs as expected, and has been reliable since I started using it. The quality is solid and it definitely seems built to last. This style uses a single AA battery that lasts for months. The only drawback is that it didn’t come with any instructions. While it’s not too difficult to figure out, having a quick guide would have saved me some time and made the setup smoother. Aside from that, I’m very happy with the purchase. It’s a great product and worth recommending, just be prepared to do a little trial and error at first

Used this to repair an Allen Designs clock. Easy fix and clock/pendulum is good as new

The unit was almost an exact replacement for failed “works” in my pendulum wall clock and I was able to use hour and minute hands of my old clock. IMPORTANT NOTE: The pendulum will not function unless the unit is aligned perfectly vertically. My pendulum did not work at first. I was able to hang the clock vertically with the back facing me. I then rotated the unit within the clock body so the pendulum hung precisely in the center. The pendulum now works just fine. This unit saved me from buying a new clock for over $100! I am very pleased with my purchase. We’ll see accurate it keeps time after a few days. UPDATE: After three days use this unit loses about 2 minutes per day so I make an adjustment each morning. This is not a big deal since I so many other devices for accurate time when needed. UPDATE: The unit began to lose more time each day to 12 minutes per day - not acceptable. So I returned the unit for a replacement. The replacement is keeping perfect time for 3 days now and the pendulum is swinging with a greater arc. I am very pleased with the replacement unit.

The clock is solidly made, and the assortment of hands should fit most uses (though if the clock being replaced is custom or artisan, maybe keep the old hands just in case). The packaging is good, and the documentation is also good. So far, the clock works fin and is keeping time perfectly.

The instructions have absolutely no information about attaching the pendulum mechanism. You can probably figure it out after a little fiddling. My previous motor ran on a C battery, and this is a AA. So my original pendulum was too heavy to be driven by this smaller battery. I also emailed the company on a question that I had. They responded to my first email but subsequent emails got no got no response. The clock has been running on this new motor for a few days now and is keeping excellent time. Update: The maximum pendulum weight is 40 grams.

J’ai remplacé le moteur d’une horloge que j’aimais bien. Le point important est la grandeur des arbres de transmission des aiguilles qui est assez petit et qui correspond a l’ancien. Et comme l’horloge a une vitre, il ne fallait pas que ca dépasse.
