Panasonic KX-TGF382M Link2Cell Bluetooth Corded/Cordless Cordless Phone and Answering Machine with 2 Cordless Handsets (Renewed)

I rely on my cell phone for calls. No land line. But I found that I missed too many calls on my cell phone at home... cell phone out of hearing range, cell phone not on, cell phone on airplane mode, cell phone on silent mode. No matter how I configured the phone, it would randomly change settings on me - sort of like butt-dialing, but changing the ring settings. The Panasonic KX-TGF382M solved my problems.First: With three receivers in different rooms of the house, I am always near one of them and close enough to hear.Second: The Panasonic KX-TGF382M (once set-up) will automatically pair with my cell phone within a few seconds of the phone returning back into range.Third: There is a bright green light indicating the cell phone is properly hooked up. I can see that my phone is working at a glance. There have been occasions where the cell phone's bluetooth had shut off or placed on silent mode, but I quickly noticed that the green light was off and remedied the situation immediately. Without the green light, I probably would have gone for hours before noticing the missing phone connection (like used to happen when I relied on just my cell phone).Wireless range from the base phone to the satellite phones is about 35' (including interior walls). Bluetooth range from the cell phone to the base phone is similar, about 35'. By setting up the base phone centrally in the house, I can assure that everywhere in the house is in range. I don't have to worry about where my cell phone is, nor where any of the satellite phones are located. They will all work. I can make or take a call anywhere in the house from any of the three Panasonic phones, as well as from my cell phone.I downloaded my contacts list from my Samsung S7 Edge cell phone onto the Panasonic KX-TGF382M, following the simple instructions included. It took a couple of minutes. Now, any time one of my contacts calls, caller ID identifies them.The Panasonic also keeps track of incoming calls. It records the time of any missed calls and their phone numbers (including caller ID if they are on the contacts list). That's a great feature if I happened to miss any calls.I haven't been able to use the message feature because my cell phone will take a message when I miss a call.I am so happy I bought this unit! It meets all of my needs.As for the cons:- Range could be better. 35' is good, 50' would have been better.- Ring volume on maximum is only what I would call "medium loud". Loud enough with a couple of satellite locations, but nowhere near loud enough if there had only been a base station.- Visual display backlight is off by default. You need to hit a button or lift a receiver in order to see what it says at night. Wish the backlight was on by default.P.S. Although I only have one cell phone, the Panasonic KX-TGF382M can connect up to a maximum of two cell phones at a time. This would be great for a family situation where the Panasonic would work so long as either one of the cell phones was in range. You can leave both phones in their respective chargers and use the phones! (The instructions say that BOTH cell lines can be utilized at the same time. I assume that means separate satellite/base phones can use separate cell lines simultaneously.)

I've been working from home the past several months and was missing my office phone dearly. It's pretty hard to type when you're trying to hold a cell phone to your ear. Also, it's nice to reach over and press physical buttons. Anyway, I went searching for a way that I could connect my cellphone to an office style phone and came across this. I don't have a landline, but you can hook this up to one too. It connects to your cell via bluetooth and works pretty well. I'm tech savvy enough to set it up but I can imagine that it might be a little challenging for others. I recommend reading the instruction booklet thoroughly beforehand. The performance has been wonderful and I've asked a number of people if they could tell a difference in call quality with positive responses. I think the worst quality comes from speakerphone on the cordless handsets (which I don't use often anyway). When using the corded telephone handset, no one can tell the difference. Speakerphone works great for conference calls and very happy to have a mute button for that purpose as well. The caller ID picks up the names from my cellphone address book and I can even dial by name. There's also a setting where you can not have the phone ring during certain hours which I have set to not ring outside of my "office hours". Highly recommend this for anyone who wants to touch a real phone.

This phone delivered exactly what it advertised. With the exception of the sound quality being a little low, this phone is great, and I would recommend others to buy. It's a tad bit complicated to use all different features in my opinion. Deters me a little from using some of them because the process is not simple enough for me. Just FYI.

This was one of my best purchases for my new home office! With all of us moving to working from home, I needed a phone with a base, portable handset and hands free or speaker capabilities on both the base and handset. This phone bundle gives me that and more... yes it’s a refurbished product.. has a few scuffs on one of the bases... but who is looking at that? Not me! Great value for the money, great quality and I love, love, love the call block feature.. easy peasy.... would recommend and buy this product again in a heart beat!

Not the best quality, but for the money a good VoIP/Landline phone. Strangely, even though it comes with the base & 2 satellite unites, only has batteries for the base and 1 satellite unit. Menu is a bit of a learning curve to use in setting the system up, but ok once everything is set. Sound quality is mediocre, but I always use a headset anyway so no a problem with me. Functionality is ok, and for the price is fine.

Don't buy this if your intent is to use it as a home phone using your cell phone as the line. It works great, it rings and you can answer when it does it, however the main function I needed was the answering machine to answer my cell phone if it rang for more than 3 times. Unfortunately the answering machine function only works through a real line plugged to the phone through a cord. The bluetooth is great, phone functions are great, sadly the one feature I needed, the answering machine isn't great for cell phones, which simply killed the whole point of buying this system.

I finally got around to using this phone. I had bought it for my Mom but it did not work for the application . I pulled it out and put it on my desk, and, I'm really impressed with it. If my cell phone is in my kitchen or living room, it connects automatically with my cell phone thru bluetooth. Not only can I answer my cell phone at my desk ( no matter where the cellphone is ) I can also answer it on the handsets. It really works well.Thou my original application did not work out, I'm very happy with the purchase now.

Product is great, we use as bluetooth only on two phones. Tells you which phone you are answering and emulates ringtone on both phones. Phone is very clear. Great buy.

Good phone but came without adapter. I had to buy adapter separayely.
