Fundamentals on creating a well balanced life
I purchased the entire series of three books not for myself but for a friend. Now my friend is in a Heavy Metal band and his reaction while he got all three books caused him to give me a huge hug and even a bit teary eyed for several minutes. I am not entirely sure what exactly caused this reaction. It is possible that he understood that when I spoke of these books to him weeks prior that he asked to borrow them sometime. I did one better and bought them all again. I gift wrapped it and gave it in person as said before. Now to the book part, it is not only that touching and incredibly idealistic for a better life for all humanity but it can cause a reaction from someone who is not big on "G-D" to get such great feelings. I read the series and hope to read them again and again when I get time. This is something that once read or if you watch the DVD about the BIO of Neale Donald Walsch gives you something to apply in your own life.

Provoking
This book causes trouble, but only in a way that will cause you to uneasily look at what "comforts" you, truly ask yourself if your comfort is a lie. You are then forced to either look away and go back to sleep, or get busy searching for a better you.

It Gave Me "In"sight!!!
I have read CWG 1, 2, & 3. These are some of the most interesting books I've ever read to say the least! If you take the time to read these books with an open mind you should gain Atleast some type of insight! Even if this is totally against what you believe, why would you not want to live any other way then in complete peace, love, and joy! Why would you want to spend you entire life fearing "someone"! So many people read and listen to RESPOND...Instead of reading and listening to have an UNDERSTANDING! But there is no "right" or "wrong" people do whats best for them!!! How can I say you are wrong for doing what is best for "YOU"...Life is progressive we are not here to stay the same we are here to evolve!! No one is lost forever!! Learn, Unlearn, Relearn!!!! Many of you believe what you were raised to believe and have never went on a journey to seek for yourself!!! Open your mind, not you BRAIN, your MIND!!!!

I was dating a fundamentalist Christian, briefly. We broke up because of the difference in our religious beliefs. I was more spiritual. He was a believer in the Bible and a judgmental God who would throw his children in the flames of hell if they were not obedient. After we split, I got down on my knees and asked/pleaded/prayed for God to show me who he was. I stumbled across the book, but didn't buy. Then a few days later my friend brought up the book and I decided it was a sign. I purchased and could barely put it down. The back of the book literally states "You have been asking Me to show you who I am..." The words spoke to me and it reaffirmed the God that I always thought existed. Not a God of damnation. It actually brought me closer to God and enhanced my spiritual beliefs. I'm currently reading book 2 now and enjoying it as much as Book 1.

More author intrusion than in Book One
Book 2 isn't as good as Book 1, primarily because one more often, and more strongly, has the feeling that God's views have been displaced in favor of Mr. Walsch's, which are both politically correct and utopian; moreover, there are issues in Book 2 God simply won't deal with. For example, we are told, generally, that there are no victims, that we all cooperate in creating the world and everything that happens in it; yet Mr. Walsch's God holds some explicitly responsible for the nazi holocaust, and conspicuously avoids mentioning responsiblity on the part of the victims -- leaving us to wonder if He believes they have no responsiblity, are exceptions, or simply doesn't want to discuss the matter.Although God is supposed to make no judgments, and in fact tells both Walsch and the rest of us that everyone is perfect, the world is perfect, and we must experience who we are not in order to experience who we are, we are also told by God how to change things for the better often enough to get the idea that all's not as He would wish it, that we could (and should?) implement certain changes (the sooner the better?) to make the world a kinder, gentler place. And at times God verges on applause for Clinton, Bush, and others. (A minor point: Book 2 is not as well-proofed as Book 1; for example, at the top of page 197, the word "quality" should be "qualify".)Nevertheless, there are profound observations in Book 2, making it well worth reading.

Great message
I had always been a spiritual person, and there were many spiritual events that have happened in my life to make me know there is a God out there and present within us, but this is just the message that I needed in this very difficult time in my life. I do believe this book chose me, as is advised in the book. I had talked to a friend who mentioned I read it. I read book II first. Now I just bought book I. After learning about the author's life, I am glad he was able to find further love and happiness in the end and could share with us this message from the universe. It is always there, you just have to plug in, like the author did.

My thoughts written
I love it. It makes me feel less awkward, strange, out of this crazy society.Seeing that what I thought to be the right way for humanity is so similar.... it's really quite the same as the one described in this book, makes me feel full of hope and gratitude. We can change from the inside out.And our change will change the world around us.We can evolve. We must evolve. So this world will not be destroyed by us.

Brilliant!
As with all of the CWG series, the resonance I feel and the deep connection that is created in my heart is hard to describe. This book will make you stop, think and question the life long journey of deciding and creating who you are, in relationship to our current world.
