Insta360 Monkey Tail Mount for X5, X4, X3, GO 3, ONE RS,ONE X2,ONE R,ONE X

This is an excellent mount for the Insta360 One X2 or X3 for situations in which a normal tripod is not ideal. I have wrapped it around a tree limb, a stair railing, a flag pole, and arm rest, and even a mic stand. It's easy to bend, yet very sturdy. It fits easily in my camera case when folded into a U-shape. I've used it with and without the invisible stick.

Works as expected

I love the Insta360 monkey tail. I attach it to the base of my selfie stick while riding my electric mountainboard. I wrap the monkey tail around my wrist, so I don't have to grip the selfie stick as tight. Gives me the needed control to film myself while riding.

I was researching fence mounts to film my son’s little league games. There are tons of them out there that clamp onto the fence and are very pricey. The monkey tail does the trick and can be used in other situations too. I figured out a way to wrap it around fence links and to stabilize the camera. I’m so glad that I found this product. I highly recommend it.

So for the time that it lasted, I had this for about two years and used it quite frequently and just today it broke at the tip and then I saw another reviewer cutting it open or having head cut it open and showing that it is just a soft metal wire so at some point eventually it’s going to become brittle and just break. I wish it were ball joints or something so it would last longer but for what it was it was nice. I do wish that they made one that was more durable cause I do like it quite a bit debating on if I will get another one I probably will just in the meantime, but you should know at some point it will break

Love it! Tried a few flexible camera mounts but they were junk. This is the real deal. I can use it with my iPhone with an adapter. Holds firm and steady. Might get another one. Highly recommended.

I'm a student and I've used this product everyday for the past year to record my lectures. It's incredibly versatile and stable, and up until this week I had nothing but praise for it. However, exactly one year and one month later (coincidentally when the warranty expired) I noticed that one of the "joints" had "uncoupled," which had never happened to me before with this product. I tried to pop it back into place to no avail and ultimately decided to take a razor blade to it and expose the inner workings to see if I could fix it. This is where I discovered that this thing doesn't have any "joints" and is just a very long and soft piece of metal. So if you're buying this and intend to use it for an extended period of time, just know that this will 100% happen to you at some point; it's like bending a piece of wire over and over, it eventually breaks. Thankfully it's pretty affordable so I'd still recommend it, but it's very much a disposable product after a certain amount of time/use.

i've used for at home product filming in various rigging settings. it can hold lights, product, small camera in strange or unique configurations. It's very easy to bend into any shape and the mount points are extremely useful for connecting to other rig equipment like stands. I will keep as a funky tool for future shoots. price is really attractive, I bought 2 of them!

One of my favourite mounts for action cameras! I've used this with the go3, InstaX5, and GoPro hero 13. It's super versatile when you need to put the camera somewhere quickly. If you over twist it, you can break the wire inside so be careful. I find they do wear out after time but still a great product if you're careful with it.
